Maybe?Happy to see this custom kernel for P9, great job :good:
Just a question: in the future, are there any possibilities to see this custom kernel also for P9 Plus?
Thank you in advance for the answer.
Regards.
Its possible, but you cant change settings without root.Quick question, should I root my P9 (using RROS beta 3) or I can install the kernel without root access?
Thanks,
Andrey

Yes, works, no issues.I know it says android 8.0.+, but openkirin got a Android 9 Alpha for download. Is it possible to use it for the Android 9 Alpha? current security patch is September 5 and 1. Current Kernel is 4.4.23+ from september 17th. EMUI build before pie flash is b535 on emui 8.
hmmn... For me after i flashed it, it didn't boot the system anymore, guess i'll have to skip the kernel for now.Yes, works, no issues.
Just tried it with OK OmniRom Pie Alpha, the phone boots properly.hmmn... For me after i flashed it, it didn't boot the system anymore, guess i'll have to skip the kernel for now.
Im on it. There are preconfig files in some parts, that blocking changes on kernel. On omni pie all works fine.I have a small problem since recently. I can't seem to change by Big Cluster CPU governor from interactive to anything in Kernel Auditor. It changes back to interactive no matter what I choose. And also, when trying to change CPU governor tunables it says interactive is not tunable.
I'm on P9 LOS 15.1, Magisk is also installed and B535 firmware.
I changed the kernel manager to EXKernel Manager and then it worked fine. But will be looking forward for the next build.Im on it. There are preconfig files in some parts, that blocking changes on kernel. On omni pie all works fine.
Next build will get some changes i test for now. Deepsleep is more than fine now.
Although for b535 changing Governors work, I cannot change Min Freq (I choose 470 MHz but it always defaults to 807 MHz for big)I changed the kernel manager to EXKernel Manager and then it worked fine. But will be looking forward for the next build.
