Anyone else having issues downloading this latest kernel update ?

Update downloaded and flashed and running very well seems to me to be quicker - thanks for the nice update

Well, I consider to completely wipe Nova and configure it from the scratch. I just backed it up on every device I used and restored it on every new device.
This or my tablet doesn't like Nova. :D
Hi

I have the same problem and I think Nova launcher has nothing to do with it because I am still with touchwiz but I was planning to install Nova hoping the reboots/freezes would stop but now I know it won't.

I am a noob when it comes to tweaking android and I was wondering if someone could lead me through setting up Synapse tool in order to find the correct setting to avoid this problem. I tried using the performance setting without changing anything else and it seems there are no more reboots while using it but when I lock or turn off the screen it freezes and I have to long press the power button to reboot it manually. Any help would be highly appreciated thnx

Well, reboots were caused by a faulty device. Got mine replaced and reboots have stopped since then

My G900F tapablahed this!

So by faulty device I assume you mean the hardware components?
Well... I was afraid of that but I can't send mine for repairs because the Knox warranty flag was triggered to 1 when I flashed the kernel/ROM

Correct. It was faulty in my case. It wasn't a problem for me to ask for a replacement even if Knox flag was triggered. Hope you'll sort out your issues without having your device to be replaced :|

Thanks. Well... I tried a few settings using Synapse tool and for now it seems to be able to last over an hour without reboots but it still often freezes when I turn off the screen so I'm not out of the woods yet but if it becomes unbearable then I may try to send it back for replacement.

I did eventually and as it turns out the main board was faulty so it got replaced and now no more freezes or reboots except I can no longer set the CPU to 2100 Mhz if I do it shuts down immediately so I'll have to settle for max 1900 Mhz :(

MHL video output

HDMI connection to monitor via MHL 2.0 port doesnt seem to be working with this kernel. Is it a known issue? It used to work fine before I upgraded from stock TW kernel to this one.

Knox Error

I always get a Knox error when trying to use this kernel.

I flash the latest firmware from either odin or Kies, Odin flash TWRP 2.8.5 as the latest version seems to be buggy and then flash this kernel with SuperSU on top. and then I receive Knox error when booting up.

What am I doing wrong?
