How you installing 4.10? I always getting bootloop.
Installing Ex kernels with TWRP. You can only install Express versions with EX KM, because of the Aroma installation process.

EX 4.10 only works with certain ROMs. With others I flash 4.07 if 4.10 installation fails. For me, when installation fails, the boot-up freezes on Google splash screen.

I would like to try EX 4.08 to see if it installs on ROMs where EX 4.09 and 4.10 fail to boot. But can't find a copy of EX 4.08. Anyone know why it is not available?

Has the slow charging problem on custom ROM's been solved?
Not really seen as a problem. It appears to depend on how close the roms are to stock. Some are better compatible for faster charging. There is also a Magisk Module avalilable for faster charging. However, fast charging degrades battery health, battery life and performance. I prefer not to fast charge and charge my device at my desk when I'm working and by my bedside when I sleep, and in the car when I'm driving.

Can you please explain this, is that a magisk module?
No, not a magisk Module. It is
part of the system. If the Rom maker made the system more similar to stock, the kernel will charge faster and be more compatible. Some Rom developers make the battery module different than stock and it is less compatible. Roms like ABC ROm and Proton are closer to stock and will work better with this kernel. Others will not.

As I previusly stated there is a Magisk Module that enables extremely fast charge. You can use it, but the more you fast charge the faster your battery and it's life degrades.

Dollysycthe, which Stock Rom are you attemmpting to flash? EX 4.07 and 4.10 are for Stock Android 11.
If you are flashing an earlier Adroid version, like Android 9, you will neeed an earlier EX version, for example , EX 2.0 serieis

@flar2, I was wondering if you ever found out how to force the pixel 2xl screen to be brighter. When the device first released there was some limitation you couldn't overcome. Can you elaborate? Did you ever figure that out? have you seen anyone else mention having it figured out?

@flar2, are you building anything for the Pixel 6 Pro? Would love to use your kernel again. Still have my P2XL but it's on A13 without RIL. Lol!

No, it's getting too complex and time consuming to build kernels and barely anyone uses them. I can't justify spending days of time on it when I have so much work to do on my apps. I have big plans, especially for DevCheck and AppDash. Of course EXKM is still supported and updated for P6 and other new devices

Well thank you for all of your work on your kernels over the years. Have been using EXKM, HBM and DevCheck, for a long time and I love the Pro versions of both. I always reccomend them to other users, because the work great and are feature rich. I havn't tried AppDash but I will look into it. Thank you again!
