Phone heats up on 2.1.1, been feeling it for 2 days, Ex CPU temp showed 50-70° C.

Went back to 2.1.0 and its fine now, Ex CPU stats shows 39° C - 45° C

- I flashed 2.1.1 twice, coming from stock kernel, heating issues were still there.
- i dont go by the EX values i enabled it just for reference after phone was getting heated up, and I turned Ex CPU stats on again after I could feel the change in temperature in 2.1.0.

So back to 2.1.0 for now , Wanted to know if im the only one with this issue in 2.1.1

Running OP8PRO, IN2021, OOS 11.0.2.2.

Edit : Did a full wipe and installed 2.1.1, working flawlessly, so it wasnt 2.1.1 causing the issue. My bad 😅

Hi i use this kernel for gaming, with gpu at max, and i played Call of duty mobile at graphics max level and temperature never exceed 39° C with a plastic case + tempered glass

I think it must be hardware failure by your side ;)

Nvm resetting the phone solved the issue, 2.1.1 is amazing

When I try to flash this using SmartPack-Kernel Manager I seem to be getting an error in regards to the filesystem unable to be mounted. Here is log file. Any ideas? I have busybox installed and installing magisk went fine.

Sounds like a busy box/set up issue. You could try using ex kernel manager or franco kernel manager, they do not require busy box and flash this kernel fine with no issues.
