They frown upon mentioning the T word around here. Just letting you know.
That's FKM - Franco Kernel Manager, developed by the XDA legend that is @franciscofranco . It's exactly what the name implies...a kernel manager app, to change kernel settings like CPU/GPI clock speeds & governors, flash & swap between kernels, back them up, etc., along with giving you all sorts of system monitoring features. You can't go wrong with either app. They're especially necessary these days as we don't have a properly working TWRP recovery (at least on Android 11 with the OnePlus 8T), so it's absolutely needed to *easily* backup stock boot images and install custom kernels, without the need for a computer. At the risk of sounding like a fanboy or an ad, I'll say this - They're especially awesome because they now both support plugging in the links to a kernel's repository (or whatever you want to call it)...so if your custom kernel gets an update, you don't even have to download the update. You just go to the "Flasher" section, and it'll show you every kernel you have linked, what version & when it was last updated, & it'll allow you to flash it right there without having to even go download it...so you're able to get easily stay up to date. I have a screenshot of that section of the app attached here. There are tons of other features as well.

Not me bud
If set to 800/900 then yes..The long awaited update is here just flashed this on my 8t, though noticing the device seems to run hotter than normal during gaming sessions. Perhaps it has to do with the OC on the GPU?
Wow that was detailed AF. I use EXKM so I understand. Just ur FKM looks different . It serves the same purpose/has similar functions as EXKM - EX Kernel Manager (developed by the equally legendary @flar2 ). I don't think I should post Play Store links here, but if you're interested, they're very easily found with a quick search.
You are maybe right. After a restart the frequency came down. This is my second cycle with 65watt original charger. Will ne sharing the stats. My first cycle was bad just 3 hours SOT i charged that with a xiaomi 33 watt charger. But my second cycle is really good so farWhich phone, and have you killed off any apps running in the background to see if one of them is the culprit? I wouldn't be surprised if an app is pegging it, not the kernel (in past years I've seen both Google Play Music and Allo do it badly). I'm sorry if this doesn't end up being much help.
I've been using this update for several days on an 8T with zero issues whatsoever (T-Mobile US but converted with EU firmware, if that matters).
How is it possible to get different SoT when using a different charger? I'm charging my OP8 with Xiaomi 33W charger too, and I always get 3h SoT at the bestYou are maybe right. You don't say...? My phone is 3 weeks old and I don't understand where's the problem. I'm running the lastest EU OOS stable + RiCE + xXx + lastest RA kernel. I debloated a lot of unused apps and set all the apps I rarely use on "optimized", but I can't go beyond 4h SoT
I think a lot of gaming is included in your SOT. I have got around 7 SoT without gamingYou don't say...? My phone is 3 weeks old and I don't understand where's the problem. How much SoT were you getting on Stock kernel. If it was 3 to 4 hours then something might be wrong with your battery or some app eating your battery. There are apps that shows these sort of thingsI don't play any game... I just use my phone for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Telegram
Almost 2:30 SoT from 80% to 20%. While on RA about 3 hours on the same cycle. I used BBS and all partial wakelocks are all almost 0%; Battery Guru and I saw that no apps were draining battery in background. I had this problem also on my previous phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro) and I changed the phone thinking that its battery health was poor...How much SoT were you getting on Stock kernel. Any reason why you removed klapse?Sorry but none of those features will be added for now. I removed klapse intentionally and the other was tested for long time and don't worth to have imho.
