Well the dev will say nothing is wrong with his kernel on OOS. Its perfect and their will never be any bugs because he and his testers test it on OOS

Well, I just recently responded to you that I was using the Kernel on Nameless A12 Rom without your issue. And I have tested extensively. But to answer the question above, yes Volte has been working fine for everyone else on OOS
True, but I was trying to help. And I was a tester for a very long time on this kernel. True, I have an 8t but I've tested the kernel on several different versions of OOS, Havoc, and Nameless. I was just trying to see if there's anything I can do to helpI wasn't meaning youlol. But names less ROM is an 8 ROM not 8 pro
this is the first time i flash this kernel from stock OOS, last night after lost VoLTE, i flash back stock boost.img (patched magisk) but still no VoLTE back. So idk why. however, VoLTE isn't important for me so i keep using this Radio Kernel.

Ok, You don't need to msm to restore everything, just use local upgrade and reflash the full Rom zip. That should restore everything
i used this method before and i think its not really clean my phone, when i downgrade from 11>10 with local file i have some laggy.
i think use MSM will reflash both slot _a and _b so its must factory new os.
Applied by default, yu can mess with settings but I'd recommend flashing and trying it with default settings first
Hello, I've been trying to use this from for months since last year. It's consistent on my 8T that I am unable to turn on wifi. I always get stuck on 'turning on'. It's the only thing that's stopping me from using this awesome kernel.
On OOS? I've heard a few users who had this issue on 8pro with certain custom Roms. But I've never encountered it on the 8t. Were you coming from another kernel? If so, it's possible that you need to dirty flash the Rom in order to restore everything. Some kernels make changes to dtbo and other things, so unless you have a back up of those, I'd try a dirty flash of OOS zip using local upgrade, then after that flash the kernel again. I would think that would solve the issue
i'm actually on Havoc OS sadly I first flashed Havoc 4.10 and tried RA kernel 2.3.0. that's where I first encountered the problem. And then in 4.11 and 4.12 with v2.3.1. My 8T works well with other custom rom based kernels like Meteoric. But on blu spark and ra kernel, the wifi issue is present.
Ahh..I've heard this. Unfortunately I don't know a solution. I'm on Nameless which is the same maintainer as Havoc, but it's A12 based and radioactive doesn't have this issue on it
It's a good kernel but with Evolution x which is the custom rom I'm using being honest it can't just match so good kernel but can't compete with the performance of my ROM last benchmark I ran with the stock kernel of Evolution x was like 740000 score this was AnTuTu benchmark so yeah

First of all download the correct kernel zip for your rom (Use CUSTOM labeled for custom roms only)
Make sure that if you coming from another custom kernel it don't modify any system files or dtb/dtbo, if it does you MUST reflash your rom before flashing this kernel, same goes if you want to roll back from here to your previous kernel
Instructions using twrp:
* Boot into Recovery
* (Recommended) Make a backup of boot, system and data partitions
* Flash Kernel Zip
* Reboot system
* (Optional) Install your preferred kernel tweaker app(EX kernel manager or Franco Kernel Managerer recomended)

Long list of changes in this build, i recommend to take a look at github for details, added some i/o schedulers, TCP congestion algorithms and sys entries for game switch (check init.radioactive.sh file in kernel zip for this) also raised gpu default frequency up to 670MHz and other stuff that you can see in github.

Enjoy!!!!25Hi folks, long time no update but i think it worth the wait, fixed Wi-Fi issues on particular devices, removed undesired commits and cleaned up the source, merged latest oneplus source, added gpu oc up to 900 and overall improved stability, hope you enjoy it.
Those using fkm update engine must re add the new configuration link in order to see the next update.
