Amazing

Amazing, I loved to have gone back to create this kernel, I use it since cm12.1 when I started flashing kernels in condor, thanks for getting back to edit this kernel. The performance is very good, and the battery lasts more than the stock kernel. (Excuse the bad English).

Hey @rainforce279 first of all a big fat thanks for bringing back the awesome kernel.
I've a small request, will it be possible that you upload both DT2W and Non DT2W version separately as you did in your previous thread of Clarity.
Thanks:good:

You can easily disable DT2W with kernel auditor.
I know that but I'm little bit confused that DT2W version has some issues with screen freeze and it's not as stable as NDT2W.
So just disabling it,will it work as NDT2W without any issues mentioned above or something else?

I am using this kernel disabling DT2W with kernel auditor since my priority is battery backup and i am not facing any screen freeze issues.I am not sure but with this kernel with DT2W on there is no screen freeze issues.

For your information this kernel is not related to previous clarity kernels both clarity kernel(Based on UBERTC) and clarity kernel reborn(linaro) are different.

I found that screen freezes happen when you double tap the screen and just before (or at the same time) it turns on, you activate the proximity sensor (the trigger for unlocking or not)

I have 3 very noob questions:
1. Power Efficient Workqueue (Sacrifice Performance for saving battery). Does this mean the system will get slower overall?
2. Is it compatible with Orion OS?
3. Can I 'install/flash or whatever' this kernel without wipe my data/app/configurations/etc on my system?
thankyou for your support:good:

1.It depends on person to person that how he or she handles his phone to get the best he/she wants.
BTW I'm using impulse governor with row i/o scheduler and I've got 6.30+ hrs SOT with moderate uses.
These settings don't sacrifice the performance.:good:
2. I haven't tested Orion OS yet so I can't tell you anything.:(
3.Yes you can flash it without wiping data.

1)Don't enable this honestly you don't need them.Just use impulse for CPU scheduler it will save lots of battery and SIO I/O scheduler.
2)Yes
3)flashing kernel don't need wipes.

works just fine..
here another question that just occurred to me.
is it posible to lock the screen by holding down the circle button instead of double taping the notification area which is sometimes imprecise?

This is not a kernel feature some ROM developer may do that.

You can do that in AICP, long pressing or dual pressing the button you want

Thank you for your efforts.
