You're right. In this particular case the ramdisk changes require root. That's false. Do a better search of the thread and you will find out why.

Yea, been working on it almost daily. Alot of cool things in the works. Been tackling a rather frustrating bug but once resolved, release will be soon after. Thanks for everyone's patience.I'm just curious. Is there still development @RenderBroken? Just checked github and noticed latest commit is from 19th january.. I love this kernel btw!
At the moment there isn't. EAS is still the primary focus and further optimizing the kernelAny plans with F2FS?
Read title. Not yet.Does this kernel work with custom roms?
Installed it despite, after stock boot IMG and boots also fine?At the moment there isn't. EAS is still the primary focus and further optimizing the kernel
Wait so you're saying you already have a F2FS data partition and successfully booted using RZ?Installed it despite, after stock boot IMG and boots also fine?
Was an arter97 before flash.

If you flashed RZ ontop of Arter's ramdisk, then it makes sense that f2fs would work as I would be applying my ramdisk changes to his ramdisk that has his f2fs changes already. I dont think this would work if flashing RZ over stock ramdisk. Still, you are much braver than I am. I love my working phone too much!Exactly![]()
This is totally expected behavior. Based on the current values of top app boost and schedboost it makes the small cores hover at 652 instead of the usual 576. I've actually gotten better battery life with the current setup.Hey,
Thanks a lor for your awesome Kernel which I currently use since the beginning.
However with the last one the I managed to use it and set it 300 mhz but looks like now the minimum isnnot even the base one 576 mhz , I cannot get below 652 mhz... Of course it s running quite smoothly, but for battery life when idel I would get guess idle at 300 mhz would eat less battery than at 652 mhz. Using Ex Kernel and pie 9.0.3 Otherwise no addon or else like Kernel tweaks etc
QQ : normal behavior done on purpose or is it a issue/feature...lol
If anyone else noticed that let me know
Thankd.
Best regards.

Give it a cycle it two and see if it really makes a difference. I brought up the same remarks during the testing phase of the kernel.

I think it's a little worse than before.
I will have to test more.
The kernel has literally only been out for a day..After more than one days of testing, cores are moving up and down " weirdly"...if I can say so. Battery life for me worst than the 1.1 So back to 1.1 which for me gives me the best satisfaction.
So same conclusion unfortunately. 300mhz should.be in my opinion and should low faster to this level. My 2 cents...
1.1 best Kernel so far !
Best.
