Thank you very much for the info, I know Illusion kernel uses AOSiP, but I don't know where to download it separately.
There is no download for it separately, a base means the kernel is modified as a branch of the original. In other words, Illusion and RZ are essentially the same.

Hello, I saw that there were a discussion about K-lapse here but I still don't get it if the kernel has K-lapse or not, can anyone confirm it for me? I like this kernel a lot (yes I have used it before)
Last time I made the switch because the kernel didn't have KCAL (which I need to personally calibrate the color to my liking), I saw that the Kernel support Kcal now so I'm very happy to go back. I can say K-lapse spoiled me by how great it works so just wanted to ask beforehand.

No K-lapse on the kernel

I believe I have been able to resolve a very annoying bug I found. This stemmed from changes CAF has made to the load balancer and it not accounting for stune boosted tasks. It would pull boosted top-app tasks off a big core and migrate it to a small core which is sub optimal. It would also have the side effect of causing WALT to freak out and boost small core freq to max. But, I believe it is now resolved. I am testing for stability currently and if all goes well, I will be releasing. My plan is to release tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. This issue has bugged me for a long time now and I just couldn't stand releasing builds that were not up to our standard. I am pretty sure that you guys have not had this level of smoothness, it is rather ridiculous.

I am more interested in long term battery life and performance. I look forward to getting your feedback.

Zachariah

Ran into an issue on the latest OB. There is a weird reboot occuring for some users and of course we don't have any kernel source from OP. I am fairly sure of a way to get around it but will need to redo how our flashable scripting works a bit. Currently, we have replaced our old method with a new one that doesnt require Magisk any longer. But this also limits the kinds of scripts I can execute a bit. Once resolved and tested we are good for release. It literally just popped up out of nowhere. lol Thanks guys!

hey Zachariah,

i really appricate your hard work on these kernels for our devices. I wonder if you could push your latest changes to your github project soon? This github project seems kinda outdated: https://github.com/EAS-Project/op6-kernel/commits/develop-oos. I would love to dig into your sources and see what caf bug has been solved and so on.

Thanks in advance!
