It probably won't be much different than the version I've made for stock nougat. Until the Oreo OTA has been made available for my G5S+ variant (XT1806), I won't be making a stock version for Oreo. If I were to, there wouldn't be any way for me to test it before release and I don't like doing "blind builds" of any kind.

So please, be patient. As soon as I'm able to officially update to Oreo than I'll be on it and a new kernel will come shortly after [emoji41]

I appreciate that and will definitely put you to use here shortly. From some odd reason, it seems that my device isn't receiving OTA updates at all, so I plan to reflash the stock firmware and start fresh. If I still don't receive the OTA for 8.1.0 than I'll just sideload it via fastboot and build a kernel anyway.

Should have something ready by this weekend, so stay tuned. I'll tag you when I got something ready for testing [emoji41]

I'm thinking of developing my own kernel but I have no idea how to integrate for example kcal and other things. I can not find the source codes

I flashed my device back to complete stock to see if I would get the Oreo ota, but still no dice. So that being said, I'm gonna fastboot flash the Oreo ota so I can test before I release. I will probably need some help from you guys with that as well.

Anyway, I finally have the right Oreo (full) firmware for my device (xt1806) and will flash it this weekend some time which means I'll be able to test a new kernel soon. I'm not sure when I'll have some free time, but I'll make it happen soon, I promise [emoji6]
