Im running this on my Euro Xoom 3g with lowtraxx's Tiamat based on 3.2 localized for Europe. Excellent performance, 1.5Ghz OC rock solid.

eatonjb, as far as I know this is Kernel designed for Motorola Xoom Tablets with 3.2.x . I dont think u gonna get this work under Gingerbread.

Regarding Kernel Wakelock "mdm6600.4"

thanks for your kernel, it's my favourite kernel by far!

I have a question regarding a particular kernel wakelock that is active 99% of the time, and it's caused by "mdm6600.4" (I used betterbatterystats to find this).

This kernel wakelock is what is preventing my xoom from going into deep sleep mode. Currently when the screen is off, the CPU is always running at 216Mhz, which eats battery if i leave it overnight.

The thing i noticed is that if i use OS3.1, the kernel wakelock "mdm6600.4" behaves much better, and it is not active when i turn off the screen, resulting in much better battery life.

My question is: is there anyway for us to turn off this kernel wakelock via your kernel modification for use in OS 3.2, or is it related to the Xoom Radio Rom instead, since the difference happens in 3.1 vs 3.2?


Edit: I restored 3.1 and found that the baseband version is the same as 3.2.. so maybe it's not the radio.
