To the people who are having issues with the charging light, or who like to toggle that feature- there is a very nice solution that should be released soon ;)

Hey guys
Just looking for a little guidemce. I'm used to undervolting my devices (I have the sgs 2) but on here the voltages against the speed of the ou seem reversed.

I've got the highest mv reading on the lowest CPU state so example....something like 1150mv for 216mhz and its the opposite theother wway around.

Sorry if tthis hhas been mentioned before, I did have a search but couldn't find anything

Thanks as always

Hi, I'm still not sure about using a 3G USB Dongle, but it should work with wired tethering from a phone.

Here are the instructions from bigrushdog.
USB Tether: Plug OTG cable into Xoom. Plug phone with microUSB cable into OTG cable. On phone, enable USB Tether. On Xoom, run the following in terminal or script manager (Scripter, GScript, Tasker) of your choice.

dhcpcd usb1
setprop net.dns1 8.8.8.8

The Xoom will not show any indication that there is a network connection. But pull up your browser and surf away.
I loaded up kernel and flashed USBwwan for my Xoom just to see if I could get it going with my Evo and got this error while using scripter. I also tried an su in front of the script as well neither worked. Any help would be appreciated from anyone who may of had this issue

Thanks.....

Code:
stdout:
[empty]
stderr:
dhcpcd[1627]: version 5.2.10 starting
dhcpcd[1627]:usb1:interface not found or invalid

oddly enough, my charging light started randomly working. didn't work at all yesterday after I flashed everything, now it works perfectly. I don't understand it, but I like it! :D

Hmm, it worked for me when I was on 3.1 Tiamat rom with Launchpad kernel. I haven't tried it for this kernel though. Hmm I think Team Rogue has to come to the rescue.

Yea just looking for a little guidance on this... Looked around and can't seem to find a solution. I will keep looking since I know I am not the first with this issue. Once again any assistance would be helpful....

Is the kernel your running on your EVO compatible with tethering?

Ok, I finally tried this on my Xoom and erm it works for me..

I'm tethering my Xoom to my Nexus One running the latest Miui rom.

The script works even though there was some error.

Error was
dhcpcd[2845]:host does not support a monotonic clock - timing can skew
But it did acknowledge usb1 and the script leased an IP address to usb1.
So I managed to surf the internet on my Xoom using my Nexus one.

I am running Tiamat 4.07-sbc kernel.. the one from my sig

Update: I just tried it again and still no good even with updating my rom. Maybe its my USBOTG cable...It works for thumb drives though. Not sure if anyone has tried this but I made my Evo a Usb Storage and tried to see if the Xoom would recognize it and it did not...Should it have?

OK thanks for the kernel suggestion since that was the issue Tiamat 3.3.8 has USB support where 4.0.7 seems to not have any. Thanks again for the suggestion

I used this kernel on Xoom 3.2 rooted stock Rom. When I switched to the new 3.2.1 version (wifi only) I now get an error that it cannot install the kernel on 3.2.1. Is this due to the installation script or is the kernel not compatible to 3.2.1?

If it is just the installation script can I change it so that I can install this on 3.2.1?

You did great work and the GPU overclock makes my xoom fly!

Running for me on 321 - both 55d then 75d. I edited the installer to recognize 321. As US wifi only, forced the script to call "install32.sh".

Thanks for the heads up fellas! Well have a fix in a future release, for now your work around should work just fine :D
I redirected the script as well - pretty straightforward.

I noticed my performance is better on the N version of the kernel, which is the non-overclocked GPU kernel. Is this normal? lol. System seems more fluid to me then the overclock kernel which I ran for a week.

Maybe my Xoom GPU doesnt like to be pushed? :)

Hey Steady would you like me to upload the revised version of your script so the noobs can still use your kernel after going to 3.2.1?

They may not feel comfortable or understand the script installer.

Let me know.
