For the Home button function to work, when you see the Galaxy Note logo before the boot animation, you have 5 seconds to press/unpress, continues press/unpress untill you see the boot animation of your phone Rom.

To get root again, you can flash this file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1056409&d=1336826886

I tried the setup.zip but the is no bootsdrom.cfg file in SD Rom folder
I tried it twice.
so I cannot boot the SD Rom

any suggestions?

no root! for phone Rom

for first problem I copied over the bootsdrom.cfg in the folder and it works,
booted the SD Rom and it has still root :)

but now I can´t boot Phone Rom with holding Homebutton

now I can switch between the Roms by rename bootsdrom.cfg to .bak
but it always been optimizing the apps when switch the Roms

I get root back for the Phone Rom

sorry I can´t get it to work with the homebutton
At the Galaxy Note Logo I have to press and hold the Homebutton or only once press until the bootanimation?

and I have another question, is it possible to make a backup from the SD Rom?

If only I had wished for something else...

Was looking for a dual boot option... Now if only we could have a universal kernel to have a combo of CM9 and TW roms....

And Thank You!!!

You can use it on your phone Rom, but not the SD one.

If you are using both, it might mess up your apps since both of them are using the same one. You can try, it might work. I'm not 100% sure.

hi mister.. ready to flash
one morething..
im used Link2SD for my apps to sd ext2
is that ok if aply yorscript?
thanks

Yes, of couse there is a way, you can simply back up the SDRoms/rom1 folder on your SD Card. To restore just copy and replace the files.

There is a way to restore sd rom back to phone rom, just the other way of copy rom to sd in my script. Just wait untill i upload it.

No, you can use cm9 ON PHONE, SAMSUNG on SD card, but you need to fast my kernel if you want to boot samsung rom, and flash cm9 kernel if you want to boot CM9.

Remember fash correct kernel if you want to swich the rom. If you forget i dont know what will happen, it may corrupt your data

Please confirm the step, thanks.
1. Flash your copy_rom_to_sdcard_all.zip - copy all rom partitions to SD Card.
2. Flash your Sd_rom_setup.zip to setup the config file for the SD Rom.
3. Flash your dualboot_speedmod-ics-k3-3 kernel
4. Again, Flash your Sd_rom_setup.zip to setup the config file for the SD Rom.
5. Boot on sd rom and entry recovery mode, after flash cm9.
6. Boot on sd rom and flash your dualboot_speedmod-ics-k3-3 kernel

Please confirm the step, thanks.
1. Make sure your current rom is samsung ICS
2. Flash your copy_rom_to_sdcard_all.zip - copy all rom partitions to SD Card.
3. Flash your Sd_rom_setup.zip to setup the config file for the SD Rom.

- ---- boot SD Rom - Optional
Flash your dualboot_speedmod-ics-k3-3 kernel
Reboot - You should boot the SD Rom now. Check the log file on the SDRoms folder to see if there is any error.
-------

4. Flash safe kernel then reboot recovery
5. Flash CM9 rom
6. Reboot - Make sure you are on CM9 now.

---Switching the rom
7. Flash CM9 kernel if you want to boot CM9 rom on phone.
9. Flash dualboot_speedmod-ics-k3-3 kernel if you want to boot SD Rom.

That's also. CM9 support, but a you need to flash the kernel each time.

Tips: if both roms are samsung ICS, you don't need to flash kernel every time, just press/unpress (keep doing it untill you see the boot ani) the home button to swich the rom when booting.

Here you go, I mostly modified the initramfs, if you use this, you will have this dualboot feature in your kernel.
http://www.mediafire.com/?sk31d47jeh7q2sy

Can you provide any sources or at least hints so I can add this feature into my kernel? Your contribution will be appreciated..

Maybe rom issue, or you didn't wipe before flash CM9 rom.
Again, full wipe is mostly required when you flash a new rom. Make sure you use a safe kernel to wipe the data.

thanks mister
