I flashed step by step as u quoted bt still after installing 2 nd rom phone cant boot!!!
pls can any 1 guide me to flash these roms
i want to flash ultimate 5.2 lsz and asylum!!!
is it no poss. way to do so??

ultimate uses preload. Alt ROM doesn't support preload therefore it has to be on primary. Problem is that you can't put asylum as secondary unless Chasmodo adds the dual boot script to asylum kernel (which I doubt he would as its stock cm10.1 kernel)...
Your best bet would be to find a LSZ ROM that doesn't use preload as your alt, and asylum as primary.

you can use Slimwizz5 as sd rom and move the few apps from preload to system
I did that with Slimwizz5 and team union lsz that I could flash alliance lsz as sd2 rom which use preload folder for all apps
don't forget to set right permission and owner for the moved apks

Ok now some things more clear.Burt rom also uses preload folder but i managed to run it from internal sd.Because when i installed it to internal sd,i allready had it in normal installation.So the internal sd burt rom version uses the preload folder from normal installation and it booted successfully with dual boot philz kernel.Then i went to recovery,i made wipe all userdata and i installed with normal installation asylum.So i assume that wipe all userdata doesnt delete preload folder.Am i right?
If i am,you can install ultimate first as primary rom with normal installation,then install again as internal sd via aroma dual boot and follow instructions to boot it from sd and after everything ok,boot into recovery,wipe all userdata and install asylum.And when you want to boot to one or another rom you will install either the philz kernel via aroma menu or the cm kernel via normal recovery.

I was goofing around with chuandinh's script and have been able to mod it a bit. The script now sets up preload image, wipes it, mounts it and installs the sdcard rom's preload partition without any hitch. Problem comes at the reboot. Installing philz dual boot kernel and rebooting the phone to sdcard rom takes it into boot loop. The logs show that it doesnt read the preload.img file of the sdcard rom while booting and hence boot loops.
I had a word with Phil. He said that since he doesnt compile kernels, he only implements the cwm part into an already compiled kernel, he would not be able to do much unless we know exactly what and where to mod, in which case, he can try.
Any kernel developers here?
I have also sent a pm to chaundihn but have not got a reply yet. Not sure if he would like me to post his script here. I am waiting to hear from him.

At the moment the preload setup and mounting works only for Internal sdcard rom1. If someone is able to actually boot into the internal sdcard rom with this script them we can implement the thing on all 5 roms.

For the pupose of testing, the script uses system.img as the base for preload.img. I didnt want to Increase the file size unnecessarily.

I had a chat with the talented Phil about it. He said he doesnt make kernels, just adds CWM part to an already existing stock kernel. So he wouldnt know what to mod unless we can telling him specifically where to mod.
If someone can talk to and rope in a kernel developer then maybe we can move further : )

Sorry for my english, i'm italian......when i have found this post i'm very happy because my dream is my note with 2 rom, one for my fun and the second to use skygo that need a rom stock without root and my question is: is that possible with this method? i would first rom a paranoid or cyano and second i would a stock rom only for skygo.

It is possible but only really useful for older roms that you seen in the first post...

The new roms, that have many apps moved to /preload folder from the /system folder, will not work with this dual boot script.
We are trying to get to the creator of the script. But he seems to have moved on from the Note. We haven't seen him here since a long time now.

so only with 4.0.4 as rom stock? for me it's ok i can use as first rom cyano 4.2.2(i love cyano from my first android device, zte blade) and second rom i can use a 4.0.4 only for skygo...or i don't understood?
