Been testing this kernel out since has night and the battery life blows stock out of the water. I used to not be able to play an audio book all the way through with Sandy, I played the entire book and only dropped 25%.

I am running stock 2.1 ROM and the battery drain was one of the biggest issues and this Kernel has pretty much fixed that problem.

A few questions, are the other tuneables in the CPU hotplugging tab valid if we do not change from MPDecision to Intelliplug?

Also regarding the charger control, I'm confused as to what value this actually changes? Also what is the default value? I set the charger control to 1900mAh but when I plugged the phone into the Oneplus 2 USB charger, the battery monitor shows everything the same as before?

Thanks.

Nice to hear. Post ur stats and settings which can help others as well :)

Don't check any battery monitor stuff, just see if you feel ur device charges fast. Do you ?

Sure thing will post screenshots once I have a regular days usage and full charge pattern. This time I started in the low 60s and charged from low 30s.

Regarding the charge speed, I currently don't see a difference, plugged in at 33% its been 90mins and I'm at 96%. The screen was off the whole time, only 3 check periods of about 20 seconds avg to see how things were doing. Again, this is only the first charge and it was at such a high capacity level that it is inaccurate for me to say one way or the other because on stock the charge always started from 0-1%.

If the setting mA setting is for max current draw, I just wanted to say that on stock kernel when charging I have seen 1950mA using stock cable and charger when the battery level was at 5-11%. So setting it at 1900 like I did I might even be slowing things down?

One thing I did notice when checking up on the phone is that when I checked, with the screen on etc... the negative impact of doing so was much less. I dunno if this is a result of the charger control or just because this kernel draws so much less power normally :D

Yeah that is why I'm so confused about what the setting controls?

Nice to hear. Post ur stats and settings which can help others as well :)

So I've done some testing any more than just OnePlus stock camera is affected by the hotplug issue.

The Google camera from the play store and "Cinema 4k" both freeze/reboot when trying to start video recording mode.

I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done from your side (I'm guessing it's a bad/broken library on OP's side) but hope it might be helpful if you weren't aware.

Thanks for all the work loving the kernel.

this kernel has some really weird bugs in multiple kernel apps its saying that my minimum freq is 940 and my max is 320, and i try and change it and then lock it but it just goes back, its very irritating and im just scared to even use the kernel because im not sure what will happen.

Use the camera next mod and you can record in 4k

Yes... 12 hours screen "on" just amazing.
Remember I'm using your kernel + greenify.

I'm very happy.

I can get days not just hours of projected battery time, but I just can't resist gaming.

I'm on v1.3 with greenify and some autostart tweeks.

Obviously, still loving this kernel.
