Love the new colours. Sio seems to be great. Should I use ondemand now or still lazy?

They both work really well. Right now I'm using ondemand with SIO and its blazing fast. I tweaked ondemand a bit in the last release to make it smoother and it shows. There is no more slow downs whatsoever on my phone. I guess I'll be skipping the Galaxy Nexus because the Nexus S with my kernel and Pete's Rom is super fast!

just updated to your latest kernel ... loving the new colors ... reddv1 kernel was one of my fav kernels due to these colors but unfortunately it had random reboot issue ..i have my fingers crossed that yours doesnt have that :)

btw just out of curiosity i wanted to ask why isnt there an option for 1ghz ... after 800 mhz there is direct jump to 1.1 ghz ...

CyanogenMod Alpha 18 and this?

Should be. The wimax radio is compiled in my defconfig.

Hi,

I tried the 1-04 kernel today and my phone started to overheat a tad...I was using Cyanogenmod 9 Alpha 18...you know if the new experimental kernel is safe for cyanogenmod 9 alpha 18, steve (assuming thats your name?) Anyone else have this issue/try it with the new kernel?

Thanks!

Dont worry your phone can take much more heat than what the 220 bus overclock does....

Fyi, 04 kernel sucks and its slow. Try 06 its a lot better. Removing the readahead makes a lot of difference!

Seems like an amazing kernel, looks like stability and battery were the guide line of your development.
Does the 6/1 kernel has init.d support built in?
and deep idle is intended to be added?

Deepidle will never get into my kernel because as I said in previous thread I beleive it causes more harm than good. Look at how many SOD are reported in Glados kernel thread.

As for init.d, I dunno. I'm sure if I'll add it in the kernel or as an alternate flash. Still thinking about this...

I have a ns4g and oicsv43. This kernel so far is running very well for me. I have not tried 4g as I have wifi and am in a poor 4g coverage area. Hopefully in a week it runs the same ;) good work tho

Just flashed on my ns4g with oics. Gonna run it for a day or two and see how she runs. Super smooth so far at 100/800 lazy/so. Hoping for smooth operations and good battle life.

P.s. the built in colors are perfect
