Hi Tommy,
Can we implement "S2W/DT2W Timeout" like in elementalx kernel?
S2W/DT2W Timeout
Doubletap2wake and sweep2wake can be automatically disabled after a certain number of minutes. I give a few choices between 5 and 120 minutes in the installer. Default is 30 minutes. You can put in whatever you want in /etc/elementalx.conf.

When the screen is turned on, the timeout is canceled and will start again next time you turn the screen off. This means that if you have your screen set to come on for incoming messages or notifications, the timeout will start over again.

If you also enabled the power button to toggle s2w/dt2w, there is no timeout when you use the power button, the wake functions are immediately disabled (same as before).

You can edit /etc/elementalx.conf to change the setting on boot.

We have that already. Our dt2w is native and more efficient than on the N5.

Yeah I didn't know either. DT2W needs to constantly keep the digitiser powered on, right? But this devices digitiser is significantly more power efficient? Considering using it now, but I'm at odds with anything that can hurt battery life... Still, standby time is great already.

On most phones yes, but not sure on the Z. I don't think it does, as previously said it is native, the drain is too low to make me believe it is permanently on.

Well I just tried since last posting and I found that I accidentally power on the screen when trying to skip music tracks in my pocket lol so no matter, off it goes.

Fauxclock, Kernel Adiutor,...
Personally i don't use tweaker Apps, thats why the Kernel ships with the optimal settings by default.
hello!
just installed your kernel, so far so good...
thing is I had synapse and faux clock installed (with gamma tuning and custom governor settings)

what do i have to do to have your kernel default settings?
what if i install them again, will they override your settings again?
(i bet on uninstalling but just want to be sure)

thanks a lot!

In settings> apps> stop app, wipe data, reboot. Uninstalling is not necessarily. But since u use two overclock apps at the same time, I suggest you to uninstall one. (They could interfere.)
Also, you might want to take a look at kernel auditor (in playstore).
But remember, only install one at a time.

Edit: just saw @Tommy-Geenexus post, we were typing at the same time lol xD

New build up!

Changelog:
* Lowered thermal polling rate for high temperatures
* Added max_online_cpus for apq_hotplug (To 'save' changes the screen needs to be turned off and on - wait 2 seconds before turning the screen back on as it needs time till all CPUs are shutdown (2s))
* Updated Prima-Wlan to the latest CAF driver matching our Kernel Base (Stability seems improved to me)

Will the polling rate change help to relax throttling once CPU cools down? Its not as bad as stock but can still get stuck for a few minutes of idling after heavy load I've noticed.

Yes, it will help the CPU to cool down faster.
Thermal is and will always remain an issue on this phone though.

Indeed. I'm looking forward to my homemade heatsink project though ;) have had great success in the past with other devices!

I'd be very careful. This device already has trouble dissipating heat because it's a sealed unit for the water resistance. Take care that you're not just trapping a piece of metal that's going to get very hot inside your device.
