Sources are up. I'll start working on the Kernel later today.
Also wanted to ask, feel free to share with us some technical details, specifically if you find any particular bits of code with significant changes when trying to migrate your patches. Would be interesting to know how much work has gone in since 5.0 kernel, or if its nothing exciting...

If that seems tedious for you, no matter - I might do a tree diff of old and new kernel source myself; if my curiosity gets the best of me.

I guess just let us know if something has a major difference and you think it has any interest :) maybe WiFi module or power management for example.

CAF upstream (LA.AF.1.1_rb1.18) mostly... I guess the new kernel won't be of much use for those who track CAF directly.

EDIT: Ok, there have been some changes... Here's the updated kernel (with CAF commits).

Initial 5.1.1-build is up!

Changes:
* Complete rebase on the latest Sony Sources
* Cleaned Kernel-Source
* Improved zip-installer
* Updated all scripts/other stuff to fit 5.1.1
* Improved Wlan Configuration (Merged Sony + CAF config)
* Made TZ default kgsl-policy again

Tested and ok so far, but please:
- Post feedback
- Tell me if there are any issues occuring

I will bring this Kernel to ZL too, ZL users stay tuned, it will come later!

That was quick, nice work! Making a backup right now and moving over.

What's the keyboard patch?

Info here
I'm actually interested in developing an app where it would work like an usb rubber ducky or teensy's controllers
I believe net hunter has this function but its only for nexus devices

EDIT: Nevermind, 0.9.18.6 flashed FTF fine (I had an older version that didn't work for whatever reason, and newest is still broken - despite apparently not needing an fsc).

EDIT2: OK is it just me or is Recovery broken? I flashed from the Advanced Stock With Recovery boot.img along with TWRP flashable from first post, tried both standard (doesn't enter recovery at all) and the MultiROM version (goes to black screen then powers off). Guess I'm back to stock then...

EDIT3: Right, recovery works via adb reboot recovery but volume key for entry does not.

EDIT2: 1. Fastboot the zombie.img
2. Flash .zip using it

EDIT3: I have no problem with the 5.1.1 zombie release so far. Just flashed about 30mins ago. Everything works very well!!!

May be you should try again with a clean flash. :D

On Zombie kernel, you need to tap the screen repeatedly on boot up to open the recovery instead of pressing on the volume button in case you didn't try that. Dual Recovery works great here as with everything else on this kernel so far. Everything is nice and smooth and thermal shutdown works as expected. Thanks for the contribution Tommy!
