Choose kernel option in mobile Odin pro, point to tar file and flash. Device will restart, then check the same in about phone.

I don't see why there would be any issues. I am using the South East Asian DX*** ICS ROM.

just choose your .tar file, mobile odin will assign it to kernel automatically.

i don't see any issue as i took the same route you did. stock LPF, rooted, then flashed this via mobile odin.

K3-2:
- Added CWM recovery

NOTE: It is still not known if the hard brick bug is fixed. CWM restores and wipes on ICS have been known to cause the "hard bricks" caused by the bug. Use CWM at your own risk.
thanks for the update. i'll pass on this as i'd rather do everything via pc or mobile odin and avoid the CWM functions like the plague if i can.

No I didn't turn them off, they stay at 1.0x as stock.
I think, it is a waking-after-deep-sleep-issue, but can't confirm.

[edit]
hardcore, nothing more changed? Only added CWM?
I'd like to see a stable kernel without bugs, CWM seems at this point pretty useless for me so I won't flash this.
Seems like mine is resolved. Try changing both animation to 0.5x. Give it a try

Cwm is safe now. since the official releases of ics on gnote started coming out earlier this past week. Nobody should have issues

Why would people still have issues with bricking if they are using the official ICS Rom from Samsung and not custom roms that used the leaked Rom from.sgs2

Because the official kernel triggers the problem and it is not fixed yet by Samsung.

The SpeedMod kernel aims to prevent the problem from happening.

Then Im in no rush to update i will wait for Samsung to fix it. Hopefully by the next update. I am content with GB running speedmod kernel.

So then how are they flashing they are using mobile odin after flashing the new ics Rom and after rooting. is it really that easy because i have mobile odin but i only used it before when updating from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 to save root access. .

works kindof in ICS stunner

I have it working, but the ext SDCARD isn't mounted anywhere I can find. not in /mnt/sdcard/external_sd and not in the stunner default of /mnt/emmc

Also screen rotation no longer works.

other than that I love it. :)

now, how do we make it do 6000 in quadrant so I can annoy my One X owning mate? :)

external sd working fine here. Try mounting unmounting and see if it works.

have anybody done a full wipe in CWM lately?

another observation: lost 3% battery in 7 hours. wifi/3g on, full sync on google, facebook, and other apps.
