Just want to share - my screen suddenly has black clipping/crushing, even on dark wallpapers. Not sure if this is kernel related with the gamma settings messed up or something, but I never had this problem before. I've been on this kernel for about a month now, and only this morning noticed that my wallpaper was messed up, with blotches of grey pixels where the smooth grey to black transition used to be.

Its always been there you only just noticed it. You can always go back to stock unsave kernel and check if black clipping is worse, go k3-13 see if black clipping is worse. This is with same settings. You can always check if maybe your settings are changed, recollect your steps into why you it is now you have found blackclipping.

Ok I might try k3-13, just to compare. Anyway I think I can just stay away from black/grey wallpapers for now.

Another question, which I cannot seem to find from backreading in this thread - does this kernel allow undervolting using setCPU or voltage control or some similar app?

Thanks!

I believe older sources are out that may be useful for kernel building.

Agree with the few earlier posts. Speedmod, please release a kernel for JB. Thanks.

Really? I think its only release for S2 JB.. Note will come along soon..
Just looked on Samsung open source and it appears their are a few HK JB releases for n7000....

I had read discussion by someone a few weeks ago (eybee maybe?) Saying that they were older so would probably only be useful for kernel dev

Unfortunately, it seems like speedmod is not following this thread anymore. I was really hoping for his kernel, which I think would be a gold standard.
