hi, im new in this forum, and i would like to install this kernel on my moto z, what are the steps to install int in a stock rom, currently im on nougat 7.1.1 NPLS26. 118-20-5-3, i will very appreciate all the help, pls and thank you in advance

Post #477 doesn't answer on my question. There are too many downloads. Ok, I inatalled new kernel, and sure it doesn't work properly with Lineage OS 15.1. Wifi not working.

Which question?
Vendor mismatch - there are answers in nearly every oreo-thread.
These kernels are from end 2017, Lineage OS 15.1 is more up-to-date.

Understanding TurboZ Version and ZIP Names :
TurboZ_X_Y_Z.zip

X : (t/a/b/v)9.9

t : Testing, DO NOT install when you are not sure [will eat your cat]
a : Alpha
b : Beta
v : Stable
9.9 : version number


Y : moto based source

MM : based on Marshmellow kernel source
N : based on Nougat 7.0
7.1.1 : based on 7.1.1


Z : installable on

Stock

Hello. I'm looking for unlock the clock speed of my MotoZ and i'm on Oreo stock with root and Magisk 16.4. can i download and flash the last file of the download section named TurboZ_v1.6.1_7.1.1_StockO.zip? The StockO means Oreo stock ROM?

P.D: Have flashed the stockO file but, after that, the system isn't startup. I do not know what I'm doing wrong ...

Nope, 0 lag even when you turn extreme frame rate mode, the downside is my Moto x gets really hot ( I mean it, so damn hot ).

i am so sad, this really good kernel doesnt work in oreo, and i just noticed there are no "working" custom kernel in this particular patch, tried to downgrade but my bootloader wont allow it. Gosh, i guess i just need to accept my lovely moto z became this slow, even slower than other cheap chinese brand phone.
