[Kernel]STi v2.40EX14[JB 4.3 FULLY WORKING][8-28-13]

Just FYI folks who are using latest kernel with older cm10.1 (due to autororate bug), this kernel won't boot. Safest kernel would be 1.10 for older version before new mali driver.

Tried both kernel aj and st. both won't boot with old mali, though recovery would work.

Have you tried 2.26 Old Mali version?

Well this didn't work for me, not surprised since its based on siyah. Same problem that I had on AJK. Mediaserver running wild and keeping the CPU locked at 800Mhz. The only thing left for me to try is format sd card and see if that fixes the problem.

I flashed this last night, battery was 90%, I then charged it fully (coz only after charging does the problem happen each time and not after initial flash). I used the phone for about 10 mins and then went to sleep, woke the next morning and phone was switched off coz the battery had died.

Sorry, I wish i had an answer for u...All I know is AJ did it on his latest kernel (but keep getting SOD) and now the latest AOSP roms like jellybam 6.3, Pac and latest rootbox etc have a signal..but before, the baseband would say "unknown" and I would get no signal...I thought it was a modem issue but it was unrelated...always learning something new! :) looking forward to your next update!

Running v2.24 here on the 2/24 CM10.1 nightly.

Im tempted to never update my phone again...(but I know I will..lol.) It is simply running perfect at the moment. Over 7.5hrs while I slept the phone lost 4% off the charger. Everything is smooth...and every part of the phone works..(At least from what I can tell.) I regularly use GPS, bluetooth audio in my car, etc....all is perfect.

Thanks for the kernel...and good work!

Its not the kernel bro. You prolly have a corrupt file on your card/s
Personally I've never had that issue with ANY kernel.

Hopefully in the next day or two you all will start uploading screenshots of excellent battery life! What's everyones initial thoughts on the kernel. More specifically Wrexy and Skywalker?

Thats what I'm gonna look at now, just haven't found the time. Windows and some other programs haven't found any corrupt files, will try some other stuff. The puzzling thing is that CM kernel and its variants all run perfectly fine(bad battery life though) the problem is only with JB siyah and its forks. I really wanna get this to work coz siyah battery life on my phone has always been great.
