Yeah working on the json, was not aware franco made that mandatory with the new version. It just worked before.

Anyways you can flash with exkm app currently.. I'm also looking into offering premade boot images you can flash in fastboot but you won't get root out of the box that way, would have to manually root the image on your phone and reflash it if you need root.
That would be fabulous actually cause I dont wish to install twrp nor root on my phone but would like a custom kernel. Massive thanks from my side if possible

P4a bricked with the update

Alright,
Kernel updated with November patches, some LZ4 updates thanks to eng.stk's base, enabled lzma and lz4 ramdisk support in order to work with twrp or anything else that may require it.
I also uploaded the latest November Stock Boot Image repacked with my kernel, in case you have an unlocked bootloader but do not want to be rooted but want to try it, just download it and flash with fastboot.
Enjoy!
Hello! EX Kernel Manager warned me that there was an update available. I pressed in donwload and install, and after that, my pixel 4a keeps in the google logo and later shows the following screen

What can I do?

Thanks you!

Sounds like it pulled in flar's kernel or something on top of my own. best bet, reflash the boot image and you should be good to go again.

Yes if your os is on the november patch, otherwise you'll need one of the other stock boot images from my other thread.
I flashed with other boot.img and now it is solved, the problem was that my os is currently on the october patch, here in Spain is not updated yet. So I will have to wait and then install your latest version.

Thank you very much!

Also, exkm is great but if you want to remain on this kernel you cannot accept updates from the kernel manager. It will pull in elemental x kernel for you

Thought I'd just dirty flash with EXKM, but it didn't work - borked the phone.
Guessing I should of flashed stock kernel first, then the updated kernel, huh?

You need to boot stock first. Then root kernel. Or just grab them prerooted one from another thread here. Then go to fastboot and fastboot flash rooted kernel. Then you can use exkm to update to this build.

any way you could build in monitor mode capability in this kernel? Its needed for Kali nethunter and would be a huge help if I could rely on someone elses kernel.

I have this time installed and it's awesome, but I wanted to pass Safety Attestation and it keeps failing with the 3a fingerprint. Is there a workaround or another .ethos with this awesome Rom?

Man I don't like this new forum.

Anyways, sorry for the delay. Kernel v5.0 is up and posted!

Changelog:
Merged all updates from google. January had a bunch of wifi driver updates so I got those in, seeing noticeably better battery on this release. Enjoy!

@HolyAngel
I don't have much knowledge about the technical details. So I want to ask if there will be also a new Android 10 version?
At the moment I use the last Resurrection Remix release, which has your great kernel included.
