there is no reason it wouldn't work. the n960n is virtually identical to the F.

he probably flashed it on top of Pie or something.

Check yourself by using other kernel. N then use this kernel u will notice urself the app installation gets more faster n rom is more smoother with f2fs n fsync disabled.

I am actually trying to build it and things is not looking good actually since not all my features works for PIE biggest example [GPU OC & UV] with some boot issues really.. it seems PIE kernel is not flexible enough as Oreo kernels on extraordinary features

Without my special features that I offer.. there will be not enough difference between my Pie Kernel compared with others kernels on xda... but I keep trying.. don't worry

Lol.. I meant that no one got it working with N9 except my kernel I never meant worldwide :fingers-crossed:

Check xda on S9 and N9 threads.. no one could implement your SimpleLMK on those two devices.

where the Oreo kernel will have positive/negative/unchanged impact on camera quality?

benchmark results are better than Pie.
I m a little afraid to switch on recovery with f2fs cause my english is not good enought to understand whats really happens if I face issues but this kernel is a bomb.

Camera is perfect as it is... the kernel doesn't have a role for making the camera better or worse.. it is always usually ROM side... not kernel side

I have heard that PIE causes camera to perform poorly but Oreo preform better than PIE on all conditions

I always recommend to use f2fs (if you know what you're doing) it provides smoother operations on all usage.. no matter if it is multitasking, gaming, etc..

okay,and what about the backups with ext 4?
I mean flash new recovery,format data and cash to f2fs and then what I have to do?
will my system will reboot or should I have to dirty flash my rom...?

I use root to have the best performances with my phone,since 10 years now...so you can be sure that i m gonna use 3.3.1 twrp if it s give me a efficiency(?)phone...Bobber 113 said he has some issues with this twrp...that s why I m not sure
