It seems this kernel has nearly the same probs like cruel 3.5rc1. It drains like hell when you stream radio to Bluetooth speaker. Only difference is, it's not getting very hot(only a bit handwarm) , but draining is nearly the same. 35% in 2 hours, screen off.
Maybe there is something wrong with latest ctg4 sources by Samsung or with latest cruel kernel. Cause 3.4rc1 and my self compiled from stable 3.4 running much better. The device didn't get so hot, 20 degrees under thunderstorm kernel and much more under cruel 3.5rc1.

Hi, I dont know what You've made but for me 30 min BT with my headphones Bluaudio and 1% gone whene screen is Off. so in 2hr maybe 5-6% max 10% will be.

Kernel has a lot of changes compare to CruelKernel so so not the same if You read carefuly OP (like defconfig, Powersuspend v2.0, GentleSleepers, No freqvar tune, editable rate_lmits in schedutil, I/O settings, less debugs and others).

.. so please do not be the troll - if You dont like my work so Do not use this and please do not write trolling messages like so this kernel is almost the same like CruelKernel - is only based on this but has a lot of changes and new features.

Started from 83% battery to 82% in 30 min with BT streaming.

I dont want to troll. I only tell my impressions with the latest versions. I know youve done a lot of work under the hood. So i dont mean this nearly the same, i only tell that its build on 3.5 cruel.;) It runs very good without streaming via bluetooth, better like cruel. But the thing is, both are atm for me unusable. It was all fine with 3.4 sources with cruel. But after he updated to ctg4 sources the strange things begone.

I see in your pictures youve done the test in airplane mode. Thats not what ive meant. The heavy battery-usage begins when i stream radio via lte about my jbl Xtreme. All is working fine fine with 3.4 kernel. Maybe its a bug in ctg4 sources by samsung. I dont know.

Oki - understand :)

Ive checked Cruel 3.4 was based on CTF1 - in CTG3 was a lot of changes in /modem_v1_dual.

I will check now on TS CTG4 how is streaming in Spotify on LTE On about 30min and give here feedback.

EDIT
Ive tested and in 30min 3% down with streaming via LTE and connected via BT to my headphones Bluaudio and volume at 3/4 power (about 12-15% per 2hr will be). So i see no problems in my case, Ive asked another user in my tester groups and no one got drastic like You got.
So idk - maybe You installed some new stuff for tweaking or made Your own tweaks, idk .

A small update on my side. After i upgrade to latest twrp from modpunk, flashed my ROM before then your kernel and reboot to recovery ive lost my sd card. Rebooted my device and had a semi fullwipe or so. Lost some data(saw the installation screen of android), my used theme, launcher style etc. But nothing was real lost of /data. After rebooting the device my sd card works again. TWRP works like expected and tested your kernel a bit while i was streaming. Everything went to normal it seems. Ill keep an eye on it.;)

Oki, no problem. Maybe you had some bugs inside that why was abnormal drain. Good you have all back.

Does it matter which tool chain we pick? Arter, proton, or clang?? I'm using an 975F s10+ with beyondrom 7. 0.
People sais - Yes, more performance, better battery life

for me clang 6.0.1 - is stocks is balanced
Arter97 is probably for more battery life
Proton - more performance but battery is good too.
