Can you still boot into twrp or bootloader (fastboot) [try pwr+vldn or pwr+vlup ... I always forget which one for which]? If so you can boot twrp recovery image (if needed from fastboot) and flash any complete ROM into any slot.

thanks for the tip, however I ended up flashing the stock rom, I will try to do a clean flash later using the rom + this kernel to see if it works.

Hard to give order that matches everyone.
For example I never used LOS 18.1 on MiA1 (I use Phh Treble GSI AOSP 11)
But flashing some ROM first, then Kernel, then Gapps seems OK.
However, perhaps you also want root?
Also, I use giovix92 TWRP-3.3 and have the habit to switch slot A/B each time I change/upgrade ROM.

I give up, some minutes ago I've tried re-flashing this kernel again V9.2 + official lineage 17.1 20210223 with no luck, I get constant bootloops; is it me or this kernel does not work? kindly can anyone else confirm?

Does this work with lineage roms by any chance? I had bootloop issues when flashing v9.2 on lineage 17.1 and 18.1, couldn't get it to work on those roms
