What ROM are you using? Do check the sources because there are different device trees used. If you are facing issues on the Note8 ROM, you can always stay at the v1 kernel but Safetynet wont work.

I have cleaned and format my J500F and never had another rom except Serenity installed but Quasar kernel v2 is just not working. Phone keeps on restarting.
If somebody has an answer for me I would really appreciate it.

Try redownloading the kernel onto your SD card it might have just been a bad download
If the file is corrupt TWRP does not flash it.

Which is your current ROM? Verify if the stock kernel and this kernel run on the same device trees.

No problem on the device trees. That would mean the kernel is bugged for your device model.

just download font module and install. It should change the display font by itself. If you want to change back go to display, screen zoom and font and change.
J500x does not support Fastcharge. So, even if you had fastcharge it would draw more current but the battery charging rate would not change significantly.
I dont know much about that. But in leviathan b2 it has fast charge and its charging faster . I have experienced.
But the device doesn't support fast charge. It might charge a little faster but its not the same as fast charge. If it was fast charge then this little 2600mAh battery would probably charge less than an hour from 0 to 100 on fast charge and I highly doubt your getting and better than 2-2.5 hours for full charge. Long story short its not fast charge
Which rom is this?? And btw guys what is the best rom of all? Have tried serenity but its sluggish, i tried the one for @shivasharma63420 and it was good but it didn't have pop up view action so i returned to serenity 5.6 but still it's ril is slow. So wats the best option for my j5 fn
