As far as TW kernels go this seems to be one of the best for battery life I recommend you give it a try

What do you mean by RIL is slow? I don't think there is such a thing as slow RIL.

Think he's on about the incoming call bug. When the phone rings and there is a delay before it pops up on the screen. You can here it ring but no notification. One simple line in build.prop fixes all that though.

I tried this.and im using serenity rom. Sorry it is no match with serenity with leviathan r2 with lspeed kernal adiutor and kitana.
Bit of a crazy noh? In my xp. I still havent got any better one.

Quasar is good in system ui.battety life was not a much deal.(as i experienced) . And in some apps its very laggy. May be a fault of mine.
And wanna say quasar is also a quiet a deal. Great work. Thank you

This is the exact problem I've been having. thanks a lot. I managed to locate the build.prop file but i cant find the Code
"ro.telephony.call_ring.delay and ring.delay" anywhere. Should I just write it there? I'm using serenity 5.6 j5fn

Yup just put it right at the very bottom of the build.prop file and that's it. Hope it works for you

the Quasar 2.0 presents some bugs in my device, as the battery does not load 100%, usually gets caught around 95%, and even when shows 100%, only to withdraw the charger falls to 95%. another bug is when the battery comes to 15%, it quickly will 5% in 30 seconds. these bugs only happened in this kernel. I don't have these bugs with Quasar 1.6.

SM-j500m serenity 5.6 ROM.

Quasar Kernel 2.0 does have issues. I had so much trouble trying to install it and eventually gave up. I have asked the dev. to please fix or remove it since many people are having issues.
It is a pity since I really do enjoy this rom and kernel 1.6

Quasar 2.0 kernel has similar problems, what I tested and use and that has not yet occurred these bugs was Quasar 1.6.
