Hi g.lewarne,

Are you able to re-include logging back into the kernel or at least as a separate module?

App locking apps (eg. AppProtector Pro) needs logging in order to work and the app isn't working on your kernel (it's the same problem as with Goku kernel).

Thx

Would also be nice if you could (eventually) include more steppings like Siyah's SGS2 kernel, but that can wait :)

Guys I'm currently on GL_notecore_v1.....Hoping to try this new overclocked kernel when/if it becomes available.:good:

If I want to be able to see a real life difference in performance - what, in your view, is the best way to go about this?

Is it as simple as e.g. playing a game like NOVA 3 and noticing a performance difference?

Apart from gaming, are there any other applications / functions where the everyday user will see a noticeable difference in performance ? (I know that there are benchmark tests that can be done.. but these are really only for reference purposes.)

Go back 1 page... there's a OC kernel without tegrak already available.

EDIT: and yes, just play nova.

Voodoo and magic my friend :p

I will add this for all budding kernel developers. concentrate on the existing code rather than adding realitvely ineffective things like extra governors and whatnot. they arent going to massivle improve performance. changing the way the kernel code intrrfaces with the hardware will ;)
Sweet:D hey about the scrolling can you make that a little bit smoother please...it's sort of choppy in the 2.20 cleanote..will changes in kernel help?

Scrolling is hard to judge i think its smooth as and im obviously using my own rom and kernel
it is smooth man don't get me wrong...it has these minor glitches when scrolling through conversations where it stutters a very small bit..it's nothing, but it bugs me coz I know how smooth it really can be...:D
