Thanks.

Yes, at 1200 it will throttle less, but problem still persist. It´s a shame that phones that can´t compliant with their specs, aren´t considered faulty. But, it´s a common factor in this industry.

Wonder if newer phones has this kind of problem, it will be hard to swallow to spent u$800 on a s6 to find it will perform like half its specs.

Welcome to reality. We are just disgusting dull clients paying for adverts.

@forest1971, any chance to make an undervolt edition of this kernel?

Or at least a way to edit manually or by soft the voltage values? Setcpu can´t access cpu voltage with this kernel.

Thanks.

This function is available in earlier version. I found it causing worse performance so removed it.

Thanks, may I know which build should I use to have cpu voltage control?

I´d tried an undervolt kernel (hydracorenirvana) and cpu throttle A LOT less than a normal voltage kernel. But hydracorenirvana has many other bugs.
Today I played many cpu demanding games with cpu at [email protected], that are completely unplayable at stock voltage ([email protected] or [email protected]) because of throttling.

These were the values I was using, I know not every n7000 can take this values...

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected] mV
[email protected] mV
[email protected] mV
[email protected] mV
[email protected] 850 mV

But worked great on my phone. Maybe you can compile your kernel with my cpu voltage table? Or there is a way to patch the kernel with this values? I know Im asking too much

All is fine here, but that's my personal point of view :)
fine hmm, this is no point of view, just some feeling;) anyway thx

Many cpu governors and schedullers - what about this, i'm on 1.9.1 kernel with S5 TW rom, kernel works smooth but i got only 3 cpu governors, and this is not ''many'' . I missing something? ;)

Hi,

thank you so much for this kernel, V2.0.0_Extreme_Spen

I was on stock jelly bean JZ054K.N7000XXLSZ with PhilZ kernel.
I was getting huge lags. I mean really huge.
I couldn't trim the /data and /cache with this kernel, so I installed yours.
After the trim with Trimmer (fstrim), my n7000 is back to lightspeed. :good:

Thanks again. :D
