What I have seen is that I spent a lot of battery this kernel. With the factory bringing hardly spent anything. Maybe 2% overnight in airplane mode. But is at least 20% in one night, even in airplane mode.

I think I'm going back to the original kernel.

@F4k, Your kernel works very well out of the box with my FW (PDA -> MJ7, product code -> BOG) along with Trickster MOD (scheduler -> row, governor -> smartassV2). How to implement UV/UC with it ? I'm not interested at all about OC BUT only about reducing battery drain... Can you please tell me what to set and where in order to properly configure your kernel for UV/UC to increase battery life...

PS : What about SAMSUNG's ROM powersaving feature ? Do i have to enable or disable it ?

IMPORTANT NOTE: Battery temperature is just below 50°C while device's charging and powered on ... it's not as usual ... is it safe to stay as is ? :confused:

@F4k : Same problem for me on MJ7, here's my quick feedback :

-> Wi-Fi is buggy as previously said...
-> Both CPU & battery temperature are higher than stock without any OC, performing a huge -150mV undervolt does correct the problem BUT battery temperature's still too high compared to stock when plugging the device to a AC powered charger (device powered on); battery's temperature is OK when charging the same way but with device powered off...

+> Great features, amazing performances with default scheduler / governor ...
+> A massive -150 mv undervolt does increase battery life noticeably over stock with no instability at all...

I'll try a previous release just to check out Wi-Fi and temperatures behaviour ;)

This should works fine on ML1, and probably with other stocks ROMs maybe could be minor issues (or not minor) because the ramdisk.

Unfortunately I don't have a I9195, I can run ML1 ROM on my I9190 compiling kernel as serrano3gxx variant, and as far as I tested, I had not issues.

But regarding wifi, will update Prima drivers on next release to latest or roll back to stock.

When phone it's charging, please check frequency, maybe stuck on higher freq when charging.

Okay, thank you for taking care of this :good: If device is stuck on high freq when charging, how to prevent it to do so ?! Or would you like me just to report if it's the case ?!

Usually kernel does not have ANY option in settings , what u know with settings integrated are only on CUSTOM ROMS not kernel :)
U can "tweak" them using other apps like Cpu master , No-frills CPU Control etc
@F4k did provide u with an app in OP for tweaking PerformanceControl.apk

Please help me, wifi is gone.
OK... first, i have i9195 with JB 4.2.2 stock rom, rooted, CWM, BML4.
First step i try last Vikinger kernel with 18.01.2014 date. All working fine, wifi, all all, but no BLN. BLN works normaly, test, sms notifications, but no working in missed call or receiving SMS.
After this step, i trying this kernel f4ktion_1.3.0-eur_lte-ML1, this kernel is to laggy for me, BLN no working... so, and i try reinstall last Vikinger kernell, but WIFI this time is GONE. Trying all Vikinger version but no WIFI. Only Wifi is back this f4ktion kernel, but to LAGGY.
Please help me how make a WIFI vorking with last Vikinger kernel, or original stock kernel. I mentioned, i dont have a backup.

you need to update your wifi modules.
i think wifi modules are changed by Kernel.

they are located in :

Code: 
/system/lib/modules
---------------------
wifi module =
Code: 
 /system/lib/modules/prima/prima_wlan.ko
and its symlinked on
Code: 
 /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko

you need to change
Code: 
 /system/lib/modules/prima/prima_wlan.ko
that is compatible with your previous Kernel.

Nazari please tell me what can i do!
I try replace - prima_wlan.ko - from working wifi kernel, into kernel Vikinger, but don`t works! I change owner and permissions same as working kernel but no new situations! No Wifi... :(

You need to replace content of /system/etc/firmware/wlan/prima/

You can take the ones from stock ML1 ROM.

Them flash Vikinger kernel.

    About fastcharge:

    For fastcharge voltage configuration use this through terminal or console or you can use FauxClock app.
    Code: 
    For USB 2.0 use 500mA as MAX
echo 500 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/fast_charge_level

For USB 3.0 use 900mA as MAX
echo 900 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/fast_charge_level

For wallcharger use from 900mA up to charger maximum (1500mA as top)

    Warning: incorrect use of voltage could damage your phone or USB ports
    ​



    About hardlimit:

    Hardlimit will limit max frequency to stock, I added a simple init.d script for apply changes on boot, using 1.728 Ghz as default.

    If you don't use OC, max frequency never will go above of default frequency (1.728 Ghz)

    If you use OC, you need to edit 90hardlimit script or use one of the attached zip files to flash after you flash f4ktion kernel.
