Looks like show-p came up with sweep2wake on his latest kernel... Faux, having this feature with your kernel/app would be a dream come true... Merry Christmas to us? Lol. Well one can dream...

Thanks for everything you do, Paul! We appreciate it.

Got my best battery life by a mile yesterday on this kernel. 4.30 screen time over a 24 hour period using intellidemand, 1.35 Max, Snake Charmer and Eco Mode on, -162.5mv UV.

Great stuff!

If I UV to -100 my phone reboots, think I've got a picky one, doesn't like the UV.

Because I'm a Nexus b!tch and I like to run the latest source and binaries!!

so im liking the kernel so far. is there a possibility that faux will add profiles to his app? i feel almost obligated to keep setcpu around for just that reason.
Before that I'd like a fixed UV ui, this one is.. Finicky :/ sometimes when you go from -50 to -100 it'll make a total of -150, sometimes it'll make it a total of -100

how about having both in the same update :silly:

i cant set UV anymore. my device just restarts every time. i try to adjust it, and then my phone freezes and restarts. not sure why...is it a ROM problem?

-187.5 is the most I can under volt. I've tried -200 as well as -212.5 (for shiggles) and she reboots every time. Problem is, I work in a building where I get HORRIBLE reception so I don't think I'll be seeing anything close to 5hrs screen on time :-/

the whole app can be buggy at times. those things should get fixed as faux stabilizes everything.

Over the last few days I've noticed that intellidemand is best for battery but gives a little lag/stutter while scrolling etc. Ondemand and interactive are very smooth but not so great for battery due to mpdecision. So I played around with intellidemand and finally found a config which is both very smooth and gives relatively good battery life. Here are my settings, using 384/1.35

I'm thinking of trying out this kernel due to the apparent battery savings but I'm getting really good battery life on stock (rooted) so can someone tell me why I should give it a go?

Custom kernel gives more options to tweak and check out things that stock kernel often does not provide. If you are happy with STOCK kernel, I don't see why you need to change it at all. But if you like to see maybe get even longer battery, you could give my intellidemand governor a try (esp eco mode), and judge for yourself if a custom kernel is worth the effort or not. You can ALWAYS revert back to 100% stock kernel by reflashing my RESET kernel at OP.
