I'm thinking of trying out this kernel due to the apparent battery savings but I'm getting really good battery life on stock (rooted) so can someone tell me why I should give it a go?

Well looks like u were on WiFi throughout the charge cycle, but if u use mobile network, it will drain more more more battery, even when phone is idle. I've been on stock for first 2-3 days, battery was dying crazy when I'm at work where T-Mobile coverage almost nonexistent. And I've tried franco kernel, trinity, matrix. Even though they are good with battery, Franco being the best, I get really bad network, and I think the reason I get good battery life on those, they slow the network or something like that, i don't know exactly. I used to get good reception, fast data on stock kernel, but battery was the issue. When I tried all those kernels, battery was good, data speed not so much. So I tried cold fire ROM and faux kernel, man my battery is good, so is data and network. Nothing slows down. When phone is idle, I almost got no drainage. Also, I bought the faux app, and used the recommended settings, I got the slower network like other kernels. So, that's telling something. I am using no change in faux app, reflashed the kernel, just the way it is in the first place. I don't think u really need faux app, kernel itself is awesome. U could buy the app, way to say thank you to faux123. Well, I did. Just try code fire+faux. U will never be disappointed. I promise you. One more thing, when u go to into xda app, when it is loading, u get loading circle right? That circle spins really fast, and xda loads really fast. I watch Netflix a lot, and Netflix loads as fast as the stock kernel. Other kernels really slow. On my personal experience, Netflix drains battery like a snap on all the kernels, but stock and faux buffers much faster. I m not leaving faux ever. Thank you so much, faux123. Hope it helped you, and convinced you to try this kernel. I'm not getting paid or anything to write this, LOL. Just my experience.
