Wow faux - this is an awesome kernel!

Have had your app for a while now. In combo with your kernel, my battery life is 3x better than stock even though I can only UV -125.

I haven't noticed too much of a difference between Eco mode on/off in terms of power consumption. Both are really efficient for me.

BTW, the new WiFi is faster at least with YouTube for me. Can't wait for the sweep2wake feature.

Merry Christmas!

Faux, I have a suggestion for your kernel app. For some reason, flashing a new nightly just makes the settings reset for whatever reason. Is there a way you can add saved profiles where I could just click on load and it'd set my values (Either profiles tab by tab, or for the whole app). I wanted to say great job on the kernel. My girlfriend is coming from an iPhone 4 and while they are limited in capability, their battery life has always been respectable. Both our Nexus 4's were dying so quickly, but after getting your kernel installed and tweaked our phones now last throughout the day! Thanks so much for your work

Hey faux,

I know it's a minor thing but could you put a refresh button somewhere in the Download Controls to recheck for new kernel versions?

How does sweep2wake work on a nexus phone without touch keys at the bottom? I loved that feature on my Evo 3d
Probably using the bottom edge of the screen. My old phone, the mytouch 4g, had sweep2wake and it used the same method

Just slide your finger from left to right on the bottom part of your screen where on screen buttons would be and you should be set!

Edit: looks like going from left to right from anywhere on your screen will wake the phone up. Ex: bottom left to top right, across the middle ... Etc..

Sweeping from the bottom right to the left turns off the screen, where the nav buttons are

I tried 002beta8_r2.
Does anyone experience sometimes when your phone went to sleep, you could not wake it? Meaning when u press the power button, it does nothing. The screen is still blank. Then I have to hold power button to reboot my phone.

what ROM are you on? i was having trouble with that on the 12/23 nightly. after flashing the 12/24 by euroskank, nothing like that happened. also, try using the 003beta2 kernel if the problem persists

I was just on stock 4.2.1 rom with that kernel and that happens like 2-3 times in 2 days. Now I am on CM10.1+franco.Kernel r14 and no such problem.

Will give the new beta a go later.
