Important Notes
  • This kernel is tested on wiko stock rom only
  • This kernel will work on roms having emulated partiton
  • If you want to include this in your custom rom take wiko stock rom was base rom and port the desired rom. Abviously with credits and link to the thread.

In my tests with my code, roms for a120 does not work well with partitions. May cause softbrick.

It would be great if someone started well with cyanogenmod port

And yes my kernel is also not working in a120 roms because a120 has non-emulated partiton and wiko rainbow/Explay Fresh has emulated partiton. Thats the only reason for soft brick. If you flash wiko stock rom and then your kernel with wiko ramdisk it will boot easily.

In my opinion it is better to start from a Wiko/Explay rom .
No need repartitioning. And they have worked longer on polishing errors.
Explay especially. already have 3 kitkat updates. And the newest kernel for all.

For problems with Wiko partitions (very small to recovery). I have a android_scatter with custom partitions for Wiko, and also a fully functional touch recovery. Soon share.:good::good:

The kernel source is of Explay fresh only. And about recovery just try philz recovery that i posted some time ago. Full touch recovery. Compiled from source.

Is it possible add tweaks for improved in ear sound quality, as the sound quality in ears worse than any other phone in this price segment.

There is some sort of audio clipping on higher volumes. Even Viper4audio is not upto the mark with this device.

Undervolting doesn't work. No Overclock/Underclock working.
