As I removed that app Key Plus also ceased to function (also after setting it up first and only then removing QM+)

I've played with a few settings and couldn't get it to work, until I read that Quickmemo has to be working. I've disabled that since I first got the phone, and am assuming that's the reason why it's not working.

Works brilliant! My only concern is that apparently it doesn't bypass the screen lock, but for instance Google Voice will launch anyway in the background.

That's the security feature of Android OS. Otherwise imagine, anyone could bypass the lock screen of your phone just by pressing the volume button.

Toggle Flashlight will not be affected by this though as it does not launch any other app, but simply toggle the camera LED internally.

Yeah, I realized later
However I tested some OK Google commands like "Call Home" and they worked out perfectly. So they may not unlock the screen, but they can do some mischief like calling people or sending texts :laugh: (I don't mind, I actually want to be able to, so I can call people hands-free)
