I thought there's a light sensor in Kaiser, like in AudioVox SPT... (forgot model #).. meaning it will turn on if it's dark around the kaiser.. you can either cover it with your hands, which will trick sensor to think it'd dark.. or go to settings, there's a checkbox somewhere, something like "use keyboard light sensor". Just uncheck it.

You don't, just use Resco intead of the "File Explorer". However, if you have folder links, there is a setting in Resco Explorer (in options) to associate it with folder links. Other than that - just use Resco.

Tap Start > Settings > Personal Tab > Buttons > Blacklight Tab. Uncheck to Disable Blacklight auto sensor.

What I meant was, in the standby screen it has

phone file explorer

^^^^ I want to change this to run resco explorer.

I haven't used resco since 2005, and that had a setting to re-map file explorer to run resco.
