This may seem like a silly request, but I really struggle to type on the QWERTY keyboards because they so small. If I'm in the car etc, it becomes very difficult.
Would it be possible to get a predictive (T9, I think) keyboard for typing messages etc?

Basically like the dialler, but with predictive text like regular phones...
Hope this makes sense

You can get SPB Keyboard, BTW Gene has predictive text input!
Or may try http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-free-pda-keyboard-v-1-0-light-edition.html

Somthing like this...

I'm looking for something like this:
http://www.o3touch.com/

This actually works really well accept, instead of predictive text, you hold the key down to get the next letter & it works as an application for sms & dialer only.

I'd like something like this but as a universal keyboard that can be used throughout the phone

:D

EZInput keyboard suit is also a good one, it includes a 9 button Phonepad apart from others. :)
You're a legend mate! Thank you.
Unfortunately, this one doesn't seem to be working too well on my device (P3400, running LomLom's rom with Manilla2D)
At first, it would only input numbers and after a reboot, it doesn't input anything.

But I did find this one that works like a dream:
