Keyboard with £ instead of $

I have done a search for this and can't find it, so here goes...
I am fed up with the standard keyboard - it's OK generally, but it is very US centric - I'd really like to have the £ sign instead of the $ sign above the f on the keyboard to save me having to wade through numerous screens to get it.

Does anyone know how to do this, or indeed whether it is possible?

Go to start>settings>system>regional settings and change it to UK.
