Kindle Fire 2 problems

I've had my KF2 for about a year or so, and it's been acting up ever since I got rid of root. (I unrooted through SuperSU, I've done a factory reset, and I don't have Gmail installed.) The notification bar has been disappearing a lot so I can rarely get into settings to do anything, and when I am in settings and try to go to the Device>Storage tab, it force quits and goes back to the main Settings screen. I have Chrome and Aptoide installed, and I got rid of half the stock apps because I was dumb. That might be something. Thanks if you can help

Thanks. In the process of rerooting through Kindle First Aide, then I have to install a second bootloader.
