Kindle Freetime

I can only add books purchased from Amazon to profiles in Kindle Freetime, but how do I add books I loaded on the device to profiles?

Wish there was an answer to this, as the same problem also exists with side loaded applications. Amazon allow the option to install outside apps, but then they're not visible within freetime. Freetime isn't much use if all the apps/books needs to be purchased exclusively from amazon. Interestingly enough even the default, factory provided books don't appear in freetime.

Same thing with any movies that I have added myself. I hope they fix this in the update.

Not holding my breath that they'll change it. Probably Amazon's way of trying to force users to get all their content from Amazon. Considering returning ours as freetime was supposed to be the thing we were looking for, but since its useless right now any other tablet would work as well or better.
