already did that after the root. for some reason its not working no matter what i do. worked before on the other root method but not this one

edit: ok now im pissed off(excuse the french). i have factory reset everything and fully unrooted. i can not get the custom icon off my phone. gonna re root with the other way that i was before. ill report back. as far as im concerned this way sucks
You need to reboot your phone (If you installed everything right with Xposed and Wanam.) I thought the same thing at first, but after a few reboots, the custom icon left and now says Official in status. I have done all root methods for this phone and Kingo is by far the best one, you just need to retry and make sure you follow each and every instruction to the tee. Not flaming, just telling you what helped me and others. Thanks man,,,,
GOOD LUCK

My device is completely fine. When I used titanium backup and tried to restore apps with data my phone started doing all kinds of weird stuff. So I went back to stock and did the whole process again. This time didn't restore any apps and deleted all of the bloat. Now I have way better battery life and device is running super smooth.

I would look into what apps you have installed...

You have to run TiBU Restore Fix after you restore your apps or you will get errors. It's available in playstore.

Is this the vomule booster you installed?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470890

If yes, does it work nice when you are in low volume? And when you set media volume to about 5 (of the traditional 1 to 15 scale) it will be comfortably and truly low or the low volume levels are loud even on the lowest levels?

I'm planning to flash the moderate boost file...
Yes, this is what i used. I just manually pushed the file using ES file explorer. I'm using the "moderate" volume booster, basically the step 2 booster, and i've noticed that some of the sound becomes distorted coming from the speaker at max volume. I might switch to the step 1 volume booster. Didn't notice distortion on headphones or other line out sound.

I am thinking of doing this on my AT&T Note 3. Has anyone had any issues AFTER rooting through this method of Galaxy Gear not working or connecting properly?

so i went through the process a couple days ago for the root, it didn't wipe any data, it works great, but i know some root apps require a custom recovery, are we able to do that, sorry if i'm asking an already answered question, i'm new to the rooting process

Does anyone know if this is safe? Xda usually frowns upon 3rd party apps that are not made by developers of xda members. I heard there is a possibility that it could steal your IMEI and other things. Has anyone looked into the source code? Something that seems to good to be true usually is......

I went through this process yesterday and everything went smooth. My At&t Note 3 is now rooted and I have superuser admin rights. Question for the experienced rooters and modders out there... The last device (Nexus 5) I rooted I was able to install TWRP recovery. Is it okay to do the same on this (GN3)?

my root fails with kingo. Error screen on the PC shows ROOT Failed! ScriptError after trying to root.

Unchecked "verify Apps via USB" in the developer options hoping that would fix it, but no.

I note that every single time I attempt to root, I get that annoying error:
"Prevention Information: An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device.
It may be safe to delete an application obtained from an unauthorized root. Check now?"

I am going to try and find the fix to remove that error caused by the Knox protection thingy.

Any links or other ideas appreciated. AT&T Note 3

Should I set aside my paranoia and root with Kingo?? Should I be worried that someone might take my identity?? or if the NSA will be collecting all my data?? :silly:

Kingo does work on note 3. I've used it on mine and my wife's and both our att galaxy tab 3s as there is no dev support for them
