I did root and replace Kingroot for SuperSu just to delete KingRoot programs before restart. I get "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" message at the beginning. Of course root disappeared but worst of all is that Knox counter marks 1 (bye bye warranty)

Kernel message could be erased flashing stock rom but of course Knox counter can not be reset. Bad luck.

Any updates on this? Is root on the T817V still only temp?
I'm wondering the same.

Is there a possibility with the Verizon model or should I just sell it and get a T-Mobile model?

I need to run xposed, xprivacy and other root required apps....a temp root won't cut it :( ....

Darn Verizon...same ol' story eh....

On 5.0.1 Kingroot rooted my T810 flawlessly, SuperSu Me Pro brought back SuperSu and kept root :)
Unfortunately (xD) I received 6.0.1 a couple of days ago via OTA (Germany) and Kingroot isnt able to root it atm. But I'm sure that SuperSu Me Pro will do its job again if a proper root strategy will be available.

Atm I'm the only one requesting root via Kingroot on the T810 with 6.0.1. It would be great if some of you could request it too to get them working on it;)

Just try it on your own! It's most likely that you'll just gain a temp. root access if your just using the app. SuperSu Me is there for trying to keep root access and change to SuperSu. About the message idk since Kingroot actually fails rooting my T810 with 6.1.1 .
Remember, rooting may cause to burn the efuse chip inside your tab and once this happens, your warranty is void.
