Well, i've connected my precious Note 3 to the latest version (just finished downloaded) Kies software, and guess what! No Update! None from my phone, and none from sammy's Kies software.

I guess I will be living to fight another day.

It's probably taken so long because AT&T needs to make sure that all the locks are in place to keep us from using the phone as we would like to do

If google really does tie KNOX into Android, I really see no value in staying with Android. If I'm going to be forced into a closed operating system, I may as well go back to iPhone. At least there, all of their accessories (even 3rd party ones) work on the phone you buy.

I moved to Android for this very reason. I liked having more control over my device.

I'm rooted on 4.4.2 and have disabled the auto update service. Like others, I'll be on this until it dies.

Same here, no Note4 for me...and AT&T is walking on thin ice with their predatory tactics.

I totally get why I should root my note 3, however today's smart phones come with such large memory, you can simply "turn off" or disable the intrusive bloat apps. Then slap another launcher over touchwiz. Personally, I'm looking forward to 4.4.4.

@lawalty- Damn good attitude! We've all been flashing Roms so long it's hard to wrap my head around not doing it. It's the first thing I do when I get a new phone. Progress sucks

Guys, I got an unlocked AT&T stock note 3 and use it in Europe now, will I receive the update or I have to do something else through Samsung website
