Badfellow,
I tried as you told me with my custom and stock verizon eri.xml file in " root/data " but in both cases appear "no roaming....." .
BOTH files works fine if I put them inside frameworks-res.apk inside the ROM instaler.
Can you send me your eri.xml file please? I Can edit it with hexdec editor. Thanks in advance

actually it's not exact same as it's compiled .xml in framework-res.apk but it should be txt format in /data/. you can create txt file named eri.xml via copy below codes.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<EriFile VersionNumber="1357" NumberOfEriEntries="19" EriFileType="1">

<CallPromptId Id="0" CallPromptText="CallPromptId0" />

<CallPromptId Id="1" CallPromptText="CallPromptId1" />

<CallPromptId Id="2" CallPromptText="CallPromptId2" />

<EriInfo RoamingIndicator="0" IconIndex="0" IconMode="0" EriText="your name" CallPromptId="0" AlertId="0" />

<EriInfo RoamingIndicator="1" IconIndex="1" IconMode="0" EriText="your name" CallPromptId="0" AlertId="0" />

<EriInfo RoamingIndicator="2" IconIndex="2" IconMode="1" EriText="your name" CallPromptId="0" AlertId="0" />

<EriInfo RoamingIndicator="128" IconIndex="1" IconMode="0" EriText="your name" CallPromptId="0" AlertId="0" />

</EriFile>

Oh and the black out switch is the shezie

Carbon is a nice rom choice too. They have builds for the RAZR bro? If you wanna know anything about a roms feature just shoot me a pm I've flashed everything under the sun. I'm spoiled unlocked bootloader phone...

I love everything about PAC. Basically every ROM is official for Spyder XT912 RAZR.

Thanks again Badfellow, :good:
But with the "eri.xml" created in NOTEPAD (saved as UT-8) with the text you send me and replacing "your name" by my carrier again it just appears a text : "ROAMING INDICATOR OFF" .
Can you send me your eri.xml file please? In which software do you created your eri.xml.
Thanks in advance

Good ROM, buttons are OK for me too.

Home button works fine for me. Dirty flashed 5-5 over 4-22 no reboots runs smooth
To everybody,
I also did a DIRTY Flashed of new ROM v5.05 w/ v5.05 Gapps over ROM v4.24 and
my Menu, HOME. Back and Search buttons works fine, "Home" go to home and "long home" show recent apps,
Search works fine ( both "SHORT" for open Google Search { you need to installed from the Play Store} and "LONG" for voice search of "google search"), Menu works fine and Back also (both SHORT for back and LONG for Kill App (your need to enable that in "develpoer settings").

The only WEIRD thing I can find in settings are this (see attachment)
(by the way related to buttons)
and I think that after Upgrade at least in the first time boot the phone's "Lock" Crash (not "cLock" just the Lock Screen)
or also sometimes appears the "LOCk" and the "CM bootanimaiton" is still playing over the LOCK screen.

GOOD:
Nice Charging while in TWRP (correct battery level show now)

Just flashed the 5-5 build with the 5-5 gapps. I did Advanced wipe and then clean flashed the Rom and gapps.

I can confirm what the others have said. Home button did not work for me whatsoever.

I even found the button actions sub menu under the lockscreen and ticked the home button unlock setting like Sabroso mentioned and it still didnt work after that.

good news is we maybe do not need to customize eri.xml any more from next build. @m.ksy suppose to add it into ROM. please leave your carrier info appending to m.ksy's previous post thread.

    [Video] Installing CM11 on the Motorola Droid X (MB810)

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Instructions for installing CM11 on Motorola Droid X:
    1. If you're on a custom ROM already (CM, MIUI, LiquidICS, etc.) goto step 6.
    2. Download Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrapper CWM 5.0.2.0,
      Framaroot: newer versions may not work Framaroot-1.4.1.apk (XDA) - AFH - RootJunky - Mega -
      Framaroot.apk
      , twrp_2.7_cm11_dx.zip, latest gapps, and ROM to sdcard from one of the storages: MEGA, Mediafire, GDrive.
    3. On phone: Settings->Applications(Enable Unknown sources)->Development->Enable USB Debugging.
    4. Install Framaroot.apk, launch it and select "Gimli", reboot you're phone.
    5. Install Droid2RecoveryBootstrap_CWM5.0.2.0.apk, launch it, select "Bootstrap Recovery", grant Superuser access and reboot phone.
    6. Reboot phone into CWM Recovery or if you on stock firmware launch Droid X Bootstrapper and press "Reboot Recovery".
    7. In CWM choose wipe data/factory reset (this will completely delete all your data on phone except sdcard), then install zip from sdcard and select twrp_cm11_dx.zip.
    8. Reboot system.
    9. (It's touch) Recovery -> Team Win Recovery.
    10. In TWRP choose Install and select ROM, then slide, then make the same with gapps.
    11. After install press Reboot system.

    Additional:

    • If you want to format data and cache partitions to ext4, you'll need to flash data_cache_2ext4.zip. To revert the partitions back to ext3, you'll need to wipe data/factory reset in stock recovery.
    In both cases you loose your files on these partitions.
    It at a point turns on and off the display and buttons, its not off, be patient.

    Upgrading:
    1. Reboot to recovery.
    2. Select "Backup"
    3. Check all boxes that apply, then swipe.
    4. Once finished, go back to the main menu.
    5. Select "Wipe -> Advanced Wipe".
    6. Check all boxes that apply but "sdcard" then swipe.
    7. Return to main menu again.
    8. Select "Install".
    9. Find and select the latest version of the ROM that is saved on your sdcard, then select "Add More Zips" and find the latest version of Gapps that is on your sdcard, swipe.
    10. Select "Reboot System". Enjoy!
