Have you noticed how slow it is compared to the new phones that have come out? I have actually considered getting an iPad air.

yeah, its old, but the old boy has still got some kick in him yet and i think that kitkat would go a long way to keeping it going and a bit longer. :cowboy:

I mainly use it for streaming media and internet, its fine for that.

have you even looked in the development forums? 4.3/4.4 is being worked on

I believe it will be available, not officially though. As the requirements to run KitKat are not as big as those for JB MR1.

And yes, Xoom is already an old device, it is slower than others, but that doesn't mean it is SLOW and BAD. Just slowER and not as good as. I have a Nexus 10 and I can tell the huge difference, however for the @op needs Xoom can do it pretty well.

I have 4.3 on it with Google Experience Launcher. I also repartioned which allows larger systems. The developers continue to support.

whats the easiest way to get 4.3 and which one?

i look in the dev forum and see only 1 4.3 ROM
