In a leaked report from Samsung India showing various mobile due for KitKit goodness. The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is listed in the report that it should get the Android 4.4.2 update this month (July). The leak also shows that the Galaxy S III international LTE version is not going to get the Android 4.4.2 update which is very disappointing.

This update will bring tunnel audio, a translucent style interface and immersion mode to the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. The fact that these updates are still rolling out on 8 month old phones is great news for owners. It also shows that Samsung hasn’t given up on these mid ranged phones and not pushing them aside when it comes to updates.

This update schedule might differ somewhat due to the different carriers own update schedule.

New leaked screenshots show that Samsung’s testing the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 models. At the same time, Samsung’s continuing to push out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to its other devices. The GS4 Mini LTE and Note 3 Neo devices are still behind in the testing stage, but Android 4.4.2 KitKat updates for the Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 are in their final stages – which means users of all three devices could see the most recent update to Android KitKat sometime soon.
So We might have the kitkat update soon ! But I'm not sure about the 4.4.3 update ! Derz also a chance that Grand 2 might get the Interface of S5 through this Update !
A Update list was released in April but now most of the tests seem to be completed !
It is Reported that Grand 2 and other devices are going through the final testing !
More things to be updated soon !

We all know it for last 3 months, anything new!!! RIP Samsung in hell.... Now I will never recommend anyone to buy Samsung devices. Neither they release device tree for developers to build custom rom nor official kitkat.

Dude when the update list was released 4.4.2 was under test ! Now it's going through its final tests ..... We will have an update by end of this month !

Those Beeps are Busy in Updating S5 And S4 They have Totally Forgotten us ! So the only way we are gonna get a update is after the updating of S5 and S4 And then Mega and then Us i think !

Gsmarena got a tip from some random person who sent them that image saying it was legit and from samsung india. its a "leak" so they have no way to prove it, hardly "officially published".

In fact, had you bothered to actually read the article...

That said, you should keep two things in mind: first, that this could just be an image created by someone with Photoshop skills and too much time on her or his hands.
