Is there any way to incorporate the Google Dialer into our rom. I got it to work on mine (24/11 build).
Here is the link for the flashable zip.

lmgtfy.com/?q=odex+and+deodexI know this is a noob question, but what is odex n deodex...
Isn't there a 24/11 build on 2.6?Is something perhaps thinking of building a fresh build of CM11 with the 2.6.32 kernel? Quarx said that he won't do it anymore, but with these nice new fixes in the past few days, it would sure be very attractive, possibly even for a daily ROMAt least while some of the bigger issues with the 3.0.8 kernel are resolved

Now I'm wondering whtether all of the so talked about optimizations of KitKat for low-spec devices are actually just ART and disabling graphic features and effects? If so, that's pretty lame... ART is definitely better than dalvik, but it isn't enough of a big deal, as far as I see it. Losing my belief in google more and more by the day. Don't see them as cool anymore at all...If any one want trasparent statusbar and effects of Kit Kat,edit in build.prop ro.config.low_ram=true to ro.config.low_ram=false.
But is a bit slow.
4.4 was supposed to be a minor update not a big number release (4.0 5.0 etc) and your complaining because they manage to pack this tiny release with an entire new runtime among other things? Not that they care if you think they are cool anymore... but yea they still are, not because of 4.4 but because of what they do with tech on a much grander scale. They have a cool way of thinking out of the box while still managing to remain very profitableNow I'm wondering whtether all of the so talked about optimizations of KitKat for low-spec devices are actually just ART and disabling graphic features and effects? Yes it does. 2 Things have to be done to get it to work properly. Like the original thread says, if you gt fc, just wipe data of your rom and it works. I tried it. As far as Odex goes, it doesn't fc if you first setup your phone and move to ART. After that flash it and it works fine.i get f/c when booting from the com.android.phone apk
Clean flash cm11 , used odex ver.
Odex. After converting to aRT. I also used the Deodexed on dalvik. It gave fc on com.android.phone. So I wiped my /data and cache.... no more fc's.Which one did you flash, odex or deodex?
