Download "Aerocontrol" by Blechd0se and set "Suspend_enabled 0", Interactive is capping the CPU to 300mhz when the screen is off with suspend enabled. You'll have to do this after every reboot as the "set on boot"-feature is bugged under kitkat atm.
Can u provide the link to the latest version of aero control.

new AOSP build

Compiled a new AOSP build today.:)
- Android 4.4.2
- working panorama
- translucent statusbar with lowmem flag (other optimizations) on
- other small fixes

download and detailed changelog

There are still some graphics glitches due to PowerVR libs crashing, which seems not present in CM. But I can't find the fix.
If you have any idea about it please tell me.:p

Trying to flash Update Recovery on to CM10-20130318-NIGHTLY (from recovery, install zip file from sd card). Installs OK, but when I reboot goes to the white on red M and stays there. Have to go back in to recovery and reinstall the CM10-20130318-NIGHTLY to get the phone to boot.

Any advice?

Edit: Found answer here. Essentially needed to be on 10.2 to have (working) TWRP to be able to install Update Recovery.

Some of us are waiting for aosp version, so thank you very much. I think it is more stable then cm, and art is working fine. Hope you will resolve that glitches, it is last problem from being used as daily driver. :)

My defy is now running kitkat, and it's very smooth. Only problem is when I surf the internet using chrome, the scrolling is not smooth at all.
Any ideas how to fix that?

Increased battery usage due to Interactive using 600 MHz when screen is off

Download "Aerocontrol" by Blechd0se and set "Suspend_enabled 0", Interactive is capping the CPU to 300mhz when the screen is off with suspend enabled. You'll have to do this after every reboot as the "set on boot"-feature is bugged under kitkat atm.

@Blechd0se: I have the opposite problem that even with the default setting "Suspend_enabled 1", the CPU uses 600 MHz very much when the screen is off, rather than using 300 MHz.

This issue was also reported by derjürgen on the German android-hilfe forum here, as you might have already read.

It has a noticable impact on battery life, because if I switch to Ondemand governor instead, the CPU rather stays on 300 MHz when the screen is off and the battery usage line becomes flatter. I might install Battery Monitor Widget again to give you some more profound numbers. ;)

Is there anything we can do about it in the governor settings or is it rather a bug that I should put on the bug list? :)

Thank you for this - much more stable than CM11
but what do you mean by "PowerVR libs crashing". I do not see anything in dmesg nor does the phone behaves naughty

Hi.
I installed CM11 with GApps 4.2.1 (4.2.2 did not work) and i am glad that it runs.
Now i would like to install some features that i am used to have on my Nexus 5.

This is the Google Now screen at the very left Homescreen and the google-search-field at the top ofe the Main-Homescreen.
And at least the keyboard of the nexus 5 (kind of swype-keyboard).

Is this possible?

BTW:
I just saw that i do not have GSM-Provider. I can search and the defy+ finds the 4 german providers but it can't connect.
