Anyone else have a voice message icon stuck in their status bar after updating to v1.1? I can't get rid of it. Checked voice messages and I have none. It also shows when you pull down the status bar.

Is there any way to change the navigation voice on Google maps? It sounds like a robotic Chinese lady trying to give me directions in a broken English.

According to the Google forums, it pulls from your TTS engine. You can change it at Setting -> Accessibility -> Text-to-Speech Options

Leave yourself one and wait to be notified of the new message then go back in and remove the message.

It was weird, I reboot 3 times and it still was there. I went into the app and cleared the cache and tried that but it didn't work, then I reinstalled the True Icon theme I had. That fixed it. I had that theme installed before the update, so it may have been some glitch between that and the theming in the update? No idea. Working great now though!

One curious thing. I go back and forth from this rom to Omega. There are times when "Custom" gets tripped running Omega, and then I switch back to ShoStock and after a couple reboots, it automatically resets back to the stock boot of Galaxy S4 instead of the custom icon/lock. You may have a better idea of why it does that? Pretty cool though. If I get sick of looking at the icon, I can just restore my nandroid of ShoStock and no more lock. :good:

Does it really? Sho done hit on something it looks like, I have to use stock and update Triangle to get rid of it...looks like this rom is going to be my emergency backup...nice....

I haven't seen it mentioned so I thought I would ask. Does everybody still have haptic feedback? I have it for vibrating while ringing and vibrating for notifications. But I dont have it for system at all. I go to Sound/Vibration Intensity and move each of the three down/up and only the Haptic Feedback has nothing?

This is on V1.1 Update.
EDIT: I don't have Dial Keypad Tone, Touch Sounds, Screenlock sound, or haptic feedback even though ALL four are check marked.

I don't think I did.... I removed all the same apps as my other base. ;)
Yes, may be because Sho has removed Sys scope traces completely !
I was going to but looking at the code I saw that I didn't need to.

Works fine for me... have you tried reflashing back v1.1 without theming?

No real big reason. Just like to see the new releases. I went from ShoStock S2 ATT, then bought International S3 so I used Omega a lot, then back to S4 ATT, but since S4 is the same as international I can run either one.

*also the icon thing used to happen on the older versions of SHoStock, like 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 etc. Not sure if it still does it. Usually I have to use Odin, go back to stock rom, root, install recovery, then rom, to get rid of the lock. Then install custom rom.
